Broncos Choke Against the Raiders

Late drive by Raiders beats Broncos 20-19.

The Broncos choked on the last drive by Russell on a pass to Schilens. The Bronocos nearly stopped a fourth and 10 in the drive, but Russell completed a pass for a first down.

Another key series in the game was the previous series where the Broncos had to settle for 3. The lack of red zone conversions for Touchdowns was a major problems in this loss.

Marshall had a nice touchdown and put up 73 yards. Moreno only rushed for 42 yards which was because of good run defense by the Raiders. Holliday also had a good game with one sack and several big plays causing fumbles.

At this point the wheels may have come off on the Wild Card run--with 10 wins being the usual number of wins to get into the playoffs in the AFC. Hopefully, the Broncos can regroup the next couple of games, but the late season collapse is very similar to last season.
