Just a few thoughts from todays travesty
1. I've made peace with the lack of Peyton Hillis in the game plan. If a washed up, injured Lamont Jordan gets playing time ahead of Peyton...then that shows you what the coach thinks of him. It's a non issue from now on I guess. I don't know if Peyton would have made that big a difference anyway.
2. In my heart of hearts I wish the playcalling wasn't so predictable. It's hard to watch when you know that Moreno would get the carry on the first play of every drive. The second half Moreno was stuffed with each successive carry...
3. The D played up and down in this game. It wasn't helped by the fact the offense was again letting them down by not sustaining drives, but you have to step up when the big moments arise. They did on that goal line stand...but the last drive was inexcusable...against Jabba as well.
4. Nice to see Stokely make a big catch. If only we were able to capatalize on that beyond three points. Our red zone offense is worse than it was last season (it seems)...
5 It's becoming more and more clear that if Brandon Marshall doesn't have a big game, our offense falls apart. Is this because he's the only one who makes "plays" or is it because of the playcalling. At this point I don't know.
Sorry guys....I tried to make my post a bit more myopic and whatnot....but this loss hurts too much

I think B-marsh is the one of the only ones making the plays.
I like what one commenator said when he said that Marsh is one of the only receivers who is still open when he isn’t open and that is because he fights for the ball. That last catch by Sheff is what Marshall does more than any of the other receivers on our team. he goes after it and muscles the corners for it. Eddie fought for a good ball also early on and if he were bigger I believe he would be able to make more catches like that. I’m not the biggest Beast fan on a character level but I sure love the way he plays the game.
you're right
The man makes plays. The disappearance of Eddie Royal has been quite alarming. It was nice to see Stoke get a key play.
7 catches
73 yards and a touchdown…are we setting our expectations a little high here? Plus he’s had three huge games where we’ve lost, and three games where he’s done mediocre and we’ve won.
Got to agree with the defense. There was a large period of time in the game where we were shutting down the pass and I just said out loud “they’re just going to run the ball now, can you stop it?” We did not. There were some big plays, but I was left wondering why didn’t the strip sack come on the last drive? I can’t believe that the ball got hit in Jabba’s hands so many times to not have a strip sack.

In response to #2.
I did watch the game due to the SD game, however I am surprised about that one. I mean I see SD give the ball the LT on the first play and it is right up the middle for like a one yard gain. It is totally usless. I will be interesting to watch the game on rewind to see how our play was.
