All I want for Christmas is.....
This is my Broncos wishlist. From how they played yesterday tells me they are on the naughty list.
Ok...here it goes!
- Offensive Line - while it is great to have two bookend young tackles (when healthy), if your middle is mush it is worthless! Denver must upgrade at center and left guard. Not making short yardage plays shows this need the most.
- Defensive Line - these guys have been getting blown up lately. 241 yards on the ground given up to the conquered fader nation is unacceptable!
- Playcalling - Denver is getting too predictable on offense. Time to mix it up more.
- Short yardage game - see number one.
- Run, don't think - Knowshson, please run to the hole. Stop stutter-stepping and just go forward!
- Getting as much draft and free agent help as possible for 2010.
- Make the playoffs - Stop screwing around and finish off the next two weeks. I want to see 10-6, not 9-7!
- End the modiocrity - I hate .500 football.
- No more pity for the conquered fader nation - I saw a lot of sympathy for that team this past week. You know what they did with that pity? They made our team look like chumps in their own house! That is never acceptable.
- Play like they played against the Giants every game - Does Josh have to say to the offense that "we are trying to win the MF'n game!" all the time? He shouldn't have to.
Will we get all this for Christmas? I hope so!
Have a great week and Merry Christmas.

On predictablity
Lots of people posting on predictablity. I wish I had better comand of quotes, but I recall a great coach once saying he did need to fool anyone, he needed to go out and do what he intended on doing and make the other guy stop him. Except in short yardage I think our offense works pretty well, it did Indy absolutely no good to know that Marshal was going to get the ball.
# 11.
Out of spite, all I want for Christmas is for the chargers to lose. badly. embarrassingly. Miserably. What I would REALLY like is for that to happen in the playoffs in the AFC championship at the hands of the Broncos. As long as we’re wishing.

Maybe dancing lessons for Kyle Orton.
The kid get’s the tangle foot often. Well, not so often, but, I would like for somebody to teach him some scrambling ability. I also would love to have Marshall, Royal, McKinley and all other receivers get together with Kyle in the off season an get the timing paterns down for medium range passes. And yes Knowshon needs to learn how to react without thinking. If there is a killer ILB in the draft let’s get him. DJ and Woodyard are doing a good job but I have never seen them out of position to make play as much as I did yesterday. I want somebody that isn’t going to get juked 50% of the time and that hard to say about our leading tackler (DJ) but we can’t afford that kind of play. Champ had a pretty solid game as did Goodman though Champ has been challenged more lately and they can tell there is a fall off in productivity, he got burnt a few times this season against Pittsburg and SD 2. We need an elite CB in the draft say maybe 4th or 5th rd. I want everything you want too.
I agree.
That guy is a clumsy sucka. Orton looks like a lame ostrich out there gawking around trying to evade pressure. LOL. I love the guy. I do. And I hope he sticks around. But he still scrambles like an arthritic gorilla.
