Whats really going on with Bmarsh????????????
Is he just showing his excitment or is he rubbing it in McD face?
Im not sure what to make of what he is doing! He scored today and ran to coach McD and gave him the ball. Is that shoe boating or, im not sure what to say. It seems to me that he is he singling out McD every time he does something good to show the coach what he will be missing. I really hope that is not the case and they are getting along great. I just have a bad feeling.

I don't think that's the case
If it was, I don’t think we would have called that play for marsh to score. You should check out the video of BM when he was on the Jim Rome show, it may clear up a lot. There’s a link on broncos country.
"Pleased? We are excited about the proposition of going forward from where we are right now. Pleased? I don't know if you want to say pleased. You may want to hang your hat on pleased. I don't want to hang my hat on nothing right now."
-Brian Dawkins, on the play of the defense
Once he gets his hands on you, there's not much you're going to do. Then you can't outrun him, you can't run around him, you can't really run him over -- so you've just got to deal with it."
Elvis Dumerville, on Ryan Clady
No.
I think it’s pretty clear that BMarsh has a good relationship with McD. Do you remember the Dallas game? they hugged after Marshall’s big game-winning catch, and during the press conference after. BMarsh’s attitude has improved dramatically since last year.
"Really, I'm a high-motor guy. Tough, hard-nosed, a hard runner, can make you miss at times. And just competitive. I love to play the game and I bring that energy to my team. So, we'll see how that goes." - Knowshon Moreno

My impression
is that there are plays that McD creates just for Brandon and when they work in some big time way Brandon just simply appreciates what coach is doing for his career

Sigh...
I don’t think we need to worry about an obvious positive situation. Bowlen has already said that he’s going to open the checkbook. McD wants this guy – he makes the passing game move forward. Three players who will get contracts when they are due are Orton, Marshall and Doom.
Moreno/Buckhalter in '09
Absolutely
I didn’t add him only because I consider it an automatic. Kuper has really stepped up his game in the past two years and you don’t lose a very good guard if you can help it. The going rate isn’t that high – he’ll get paid, I suspect.

Everytime I eat a bunch of chicken I always rattle the bones around and roll them out on the counter.
I’ll be danged if I can figure out what it all means. I believe BMarsh and McD are building a relationship that will be a lasting one, something jay should have thought about before throwing a hissy-fit.
buddies for now
Come contract time, you will see Brandon Marshall franchised. Smart business decision, letting the industry define his salary, plus saving the bonus money.
Remember that without the CBA, Marshall is a restricted free agent for TWO more years, meaning that Denver owns his contract through 2012.
IMO the first guy to get paid is Chris Kuper. He is as valuable as the Ryans. (maybe a little behind).

yeah, linemen, linemen, linemen
gotta keep and gain more of those.
get Mike Iupati in the draft too. Franchise Marshall. Keep Kuper.

IMO, CB will be our biggest need in round 1.
Champ (next season my be his last with Denver) and Goodman are both 30+. Alphonso Smith has shown Denver NO reason to believe he is ready to be an impact player at this level. Joe Haden from Florida may keep playing in blue and orange at the next level.
This is my favorite website.
actually
I think you’re on to something, and I had the same thought. However, I don’t think he’s doing it in a mean spirited way or meaning any disrespect at all. I think it’s at most a playful reminder to his coach that, heck yeah I’m a playmaker and you love me. Last week they mentioned that B had suggested a play to McD and he took him up on it, and it worked, and they were both excited about that. I think the love is real and the respect is growing and mutual between those two. More telling would have been a hint of animosity during the 4-game slide. There was none, zero. So my advice, as Emmett noted above, is not to worry about an obvious positive situation. Those two are men, and their destiny is up to them. Let’s just hope it will be together — because they have HUGE potential together, and I don’t think that’s lost on them at all.

Marshall isn’t showboating. He’s having fun, which bodes well for the Broncos keeping him next season.
If Taylor Swift were to try and tackle me, I'd let her.
Marshall may be immature
but he’s not a jerk. He seems like a pretty good guy who happens to have a short fuse and has some growing up to do still. I don’t think he’s calculating enough to do something like that. I think he’s probably just out there having fun and sharing it with McD.
is this prep for one of woody's articles?
because the logic seems in line with his.
"I just looked across the huddle to see the guys in the huddle with me: great offensive line, great talent at wide receiver, great tight ends, great running backs. If we execute and play the way that we should, it should be tough to stop us."

dont compare me to woody, i dont get paid for this
it was just something that I thought of watching the game. Im not the type of person to stir up some $%#@ just to do it

I thought the complete opposite
I thought that it was touching that Marshall would run over and immediately give the coach his touchdown ball, much like giving game balls out at the end of the game. Stop trying to look for smoke when there is no fire.

I did too
and like onco said above, I think it has to do with a play designed especially for him and then Brandon executing it. In fact we know for sure that’s what happened with the first one-hander against the Giants and he did the same celebration.
I love this guy and feel he deserves the contract. Also, I don’t think he is a selfish diva or any of that; I think he is a good guy who simply needed to mature. I think he’s done that this year.

It was just something that popped in my head watching the game
Im not tring to stur the pot. they may have a relationship that is growing and I hope that is the case. It looks like B is having all kinds of fun playing, it just seemed odd that he singled McD out and gave hin the ball. Im not looking for smoke here, I just wanted evryones opinion on this great site. So just calm down.

It's cool. I'm not angry or anything.
I think that it’s a lot like after his one handed catch on thanksgiving where he ran back and gave McD a fist bump. I don’t think that there is much to read into this, unless Marshall was saying “Thanks” by giving him the gameball.
If Taylor Swift were to try and tackle me, I'd let her.
no worries
just a little trigger happy maybe. it seems we on the outside expect the org to fall apart at some point, ruining everything.

From the denverpost.com
“After Brandon Marshall’s 7-yard touchdown catch in the third quarter, Marshall took the ball with him to the sideline and gave it to McDaniels.
“He said when I score, he wants that ball,” Marshall said. “He probably said it three times this week and again last night.”
This is a complete NON-ISSUE (which is great!)

You beat me to posting that. I think that pretty much says it all. McDaniels is having some serious fun with his star receiver. I’d be shocked if B Marsh didn’t remain a Bronco for a very long time after turning his disposition around this season. The affection is genuine and mutual.

Not what you think...
I have a great relationship with my supervisor. However, when it doesn’t seem like he’s noticing my abilities or work ethic, I find ways to throw it in his face. For example: I clearly state on my reports every last detail of the work performed on a particular shift. If I go above and beyond what I’m asked to do, I make sure to point that out on my report also. Brandon had a tough offseason, with many people questioning his worth. He’s simply making sure McDaniels knows he’s doing his job and doing it splendidly. There’s no doubt in my mind that McDaniels will do whatever it takes to get this guy a new contract in the offseason. He’s too important to the Broncos. Without BMarsh, we may have dropped a few more games this season. His amazing abilities as a receiver helped to give us momentum in games we would have otherwise lost. Cheers to BMarsh, and let’s pray they give him the money he wants so he’s playing in Denver for many years to come!
