Lucky Charm?
So I am in no way a true believer of jinxes, good luck charms, or anything of the sort. However, I found this personal experience to be truly entertaining and gives some credence to good luck charms.
The Wednesday before Thanksgiving, my mother (God bless her) wanted to take me clothes shopping. As I a male and in college, this isn't necessarily my favorite past time, but darn it all if she hadn't taken me to Gino's East for lucnh.
*A sidenote: I go to college in Colorado, but my hometown is in Gurnee, IL. In a town called Libertyville, there is a Deep Dish pizza place called Gino's East. If any of you are fans of Chicago style pizza, this far surpasses Giordano's or any other pizza place. But I digress.
So we go to Kohl's and as I'm sifting through the shirts, come across the graphic tees, and a glow of orange catches my eye. Low and behold, it's a retro faded Orange Crush soda tshirt. Of course I bought it.
On Thanksgiving day, after the food and accompanying coma, I woke up to find the Broncos game coming on. I put on the new shirt, and we all know how that game went. Today, as I had an extremely long Saturday night, I woke up around half time for the Chiefs game. After a shower, I put on the shirt and Denver went on to score 20 points in the third quarter, and decidedly win the game.
Now I by no means endorse lucky charms or believe in luck, but I found this too entertaining to not put up. I know that I'll be wearing it for the Colts game next Sunday.
I have to ask, do any of you have pregame rituals or lucky charms? Or do you even believe in the sort?

I like that.
So you mute the TV, and listen to music. Must make the whole game seem like a highlight reel.

Supersticious rituals for bronco victory...
I too am capablenof believing that my actions and Intentions on gameday can help ensure a supernatural victory.
I had a beer cozy.
It was a promo giveaway include with a flat of
coors light. It was thin blue neoprene with a white zipper and held a CL longneck snugly and perfectly.
This was in the postseason I recall being called the “revenge tour”. We played all our games on the road, first
jacksonvile.
Let me back up for a moment. Any expert will immediateley agree: fans can effect the outcome

Funny thing is I bought that exact shirt @ Kohls months ago..
I just haven’t worn it yet.
Quit drinking the Kool-Aid and start drinking the good stuff, and everything is always alright.

Yeah
Last year I noticed when I got busy and could not watch the games the Broncos found ugly and unusal ways to lose. I decided it was my patriotic duty to be in front of the TV for the final game. Damn, it was not their bad luck when I missed a game …. it was my good luck … I really should have missed that last game too!
