This guy is just what the Chiefs need to be feared again on D and that guy is Elvis Dumervil. With Dumervil leading the NFL in sacks this year with 15 I don'tsee how Denver can resign him with all there free agents the have this year and Dumervils biggest hero growing up was DT so what better way to be like DT then to be the league sack leader for the Chiefs! With these two rushing the passer it would go along way towards improving are defense and making people forget about Jared Allen.

Fortunately (and hopefully) the Broncos' GM is not as dumb as the Chiefs' have been
I would certainly hope, at least, that We wouldn’t get rid of players such as Jared Allen, Tony Gonzalez…
Just like We wouldn’t get rid of Elvis.
But it’s good to have high hopes sometimes.
First team to three consecutive SB wins!!!! and then some, right? I think four and someone else oughtta have a 'fair' shot : )

the chiefs can keep dreaming
no way doom isnt a bronco next year
"Have you ever heard of the emancipation proclamation?"
- "I don't listen to hip-hop"
"Born like this / Into this"
haha no no
I think Doom will be one of Xanders’ top priorities

Ideas like this...
…are just another reason to hate the Chiefs. And all of their fans.

They're the most respectable rival of the Broncos

wow
I guess that’s true. But only relatively, not absolutely. Because when your coach tells his players to go out and hurt the rival’s qb, that’s not very ‘respectable’
Because Montana has no professional sports, I gotta support the land of my birth.
Socrates was once executed for 'trolling'.
^Needs explaining: don't call someone asking uncomfortable, slightly antagonistic questions trolls. In all odds they probably just want to learn. It's real easy to differentiate a 'Socratic' post from a trolling one (unless you're a resident of WCG).
^Needs further explaining: I have yet to post anything on WCG, don't worry, I'm not trying to rationalize anything I've done. I've just lurked over there and man, they are the model of post-peloponnesian war Athens.
That's aggravating
That’s just harsh and thoughtless, where’s the respect wt?
You shouldn’t hate ‘all of’ any teams’ fans. Many of them are fans of their team for the EXACT same reasons you’re a fan of this team, for all you know… Or for better reasons…
And I’ve always liked how the rivalry between Us and the Chiefs plays out. Typically no fights breaking out when one team is really, really losing, as tends to happen when playing the Chargers or Raiders. I’ve always really dug the fact that Broncos-Chiefs have had a respectful rivalry, a professional rivalry, if you will.

You ever been to a game at Mile High?
Every entrance to the field has those signs posted above -
“RESPECT – Respect the game. Respect each other.”
I try to do just that, literally all the time (respecting others that is, obviously can’t respect the game all the time ha ha). If done properly, it is highly beneficial not only to oneself, but everyone you encounter.

I know, I know
I didn’t mean for that to be taken too seriously. I dislike everything about any opponent, especially a rival. That does not mean that I dislike the people, I just dislike their Chiefs fandom in the same way that they likely dislike my Broncos fandom.
Saying that, I’ve never had a problem with any Chiefs fans. They’re all generally pretty classy, just like St. Louis Cardinals fans.
Red Wings and Raiders fans, though, I will not associate with out of self-preservation.

Gotcha, gotcha
I’m sure deep down I knew what you meant (or at least hoped).
I already knew you’re smarter than that. ( ;

Wishful thinking
they never should have let Allen get away. Doom is staying in orange and blue

At what price?
Someone on here (I can’t remember who) proposed that recent deals to compare to would be DeMarcus Ware, Dwight Freeney, and Jared Allen. But those last two aren’t good comparisons because they are both strictly 4-3 DEs. You couldn’t put them on the outside in a 3-4 like Denver did with Dumervil and expect the success he’s had. Ware’s a good comparison, but he’s proven himself in the 3-4 longer than Dumervil has, so should Dumervil get similar money?

Good question
I think that there will be a middle ground, but that Doom will get a huge raise. One of the approaches that has worked in New England in the past is the fact that over a 1/2 dozen of their players (including Brady) have taken contracts for somewhat below market at their positions. In return, the team funnels endorsement contracts to the players who help out in that way. Doom should do well in that market and since he has not at this time developed a longer term track record, he will probably expect a little less than Ware. At least, that’s what we all hope ;-)
