Poll- What would it take to trade Champ?
The hot topic right now is whether or not we should trade Champ.
When it comes down to it, the question isn't really whether we SHOULD trade him, it's what offer a team would have to make for it to be worth it for us to let him go. Remember: the point isn't what we would feasably GET for him... it's whether or not you'd make the trade if it was offered.

Jack !
Blockbuster trades are very rare in the NFL mabey 1 every 10 to 15 years .
Champ was already involved once in a trade like that . How many times do you think
the same player can be moved around mutiple times between years going by with
injurys pileing up ? Was hershel walker traded over and over again … no….
Was deon sanders traded over and over again …. no …. was ricky williams traded
over and over again .. no … It just dont happen like that .

Ok...if I had to trade Champ
I could be tempted for a mid first round pick…then we could land Rey M. and Knowshon…wooooweeee…yeah that might temp me…
But in reality, that won’t happen and I don’t want to trade Champ.

That's how I voted
I would say Rey and Jenkins, but wouldn’t mind Moreno in that scenerio

I said high 1st...
…but I’d take a low 1st if it included a 2nd (either this year or next). I just severely doubt any team will be willing to offer that much for him.
I Say 2nd round
Champ is good, almost as good nnamdi, but his age costs him in his value. But, he is still a shutdown corner.
A New Spirit, A New Team, A New Coach, But Same Commitment.
Only a first for Champ?
You guys are not in the same situation the dolphins for example we at last year, they were fully rebuilding but you guys have been rebuilding for ages and have absolutely all the tools on offense to be contenders, need a better line and pass rush at defense but dont go giving away your star CB for a first round pick. Trust me, you dont want to start rebuilding now
Scenarios
This is interesting to speculate about…
The only I would see a team giving a first round pick for Champ is if they needed a CB to put them over the top to try to make a SB run, looking at the draft there doesn’t seem to be any teams that really fit the bill…
The Ravens at 26 could certainly use a corner, but with Rolle also up there in age and with serious needs at WR and possibly having to replace Bart Scott and/or Ray Lewis, it seems very unlikely that they would drop a 1st rounder on Champ.
Jacksonville is still a contender and certainly need a CB opposite Resean Mathis, but its unlikely they have the cap space to absorb Champs contracts after disastrous deals with Jerry Porter and Floerence.
The Saints are certainly looking for help at CB but Round 1 Pick 14 is certainly too much to give up for champ and they don’t have a second rounder.
Basically I don’t see any realistic situation in which we could move champ and get good value for him so IMO we keep him.
I would say maybe New England
But I don’t know if they want to spend the money on Bailey, they seem to like to get retreads and run them out there.

Bailey for Wilfork. WOuld youdo it?
Those that cant coach, compete!
Failing to plan is planning to fail.
Yesssssss
I make that trade and don’t look back… but that is definitely not possible.
NE is interesting though, they could certainly use a CB and may have an extra fist rounder if they unload Cassell…. it certainly seems like if we do trade Champ, NE is the most likely destination.
Wilfork and a pick
I was thinking that NE was regretting letting Asante go last year and might part with Wilfork and a 4th or something for Champ. I’d probably do that.
