NFL Draft in Los Angeles?

I wanted to know if anyone else has heard anything about this. If im not mistaken I remember the commish say something about wanting to move the draft to a different location from  year to year and from what i remember LA was a city he brought up. Anyone know about this? Being from LA myself I would be there in a second, but idk how true it is. Anyone know?

I know ESPN has their westcoast HQ out here from what i hear, and NFL Network is out here too so maybe they have some vested interest in it being moved to LA, but idk.

I would like that...the East Boast Bias will eat the Commish alive though.

This is my GAP, there are many like it but this one is mine. Without my GAP I am useless, without me, they will run through my GAP. I will protect my GAP and have my brothers back on his. I will not be moved from my GAP, I am a crazed dog that patrols this area and will defeat all who enter it. I own this GAP, it is mine. I bought it with blood and sweat. I will not be pushed. I will not be moved. This Sunday I will make a stand and a statement.

Hell, let's do it at the state capitol here in Sacramento....

it would help solve some of our budget woes here. Rent it out for like 10-20 million…yeah!

Isn't weird

That the draft would be held in a city that dosent have an NFL team. We should have it here in SF

83 days til draft...

maybe theres no nfl team here

but there’s still A LOT of NFL fans out here. One thing i think about moving the NFL out to LA, there’s going to be at least a period of 5-10 yrs i think till the fans really jump on board. I only say this because there has been an entire generation of people born in the late 80’s who are now in their early 20s who have picked teams to follow outside their media market like myself rooting for denver. My point is that just because a team comes out to LA doesnt mean im rooting for them, and i think the same thing will hold for a lot of fans. Unless you bring the raiders, rams or chargers to LA, i really dont think it will succeed RIGHT AWAY because allegiance lines have already been drawn in many of the fans in so cal.

Once the younger crowd and fair-weather fans jump aboard after a few seasons, i think thatll be when the nfl really succeeds out here, but thats just my opinion.

Hey, maybe a hodgepodge of fans would be good.

We wouldn’t have to put up with the “J-E-T-S” crap anymore.

Why LA

I am all for moving it around, but should be to NFL cities, would be nice to rotate it, maybe you have it in the city where the 1st overall pick will be, so Detroit and Oakland would have a monoply on it for the next ten years.
