BREAKING - Brandon Marshall Arrested

Brandon Marshall has alledgedly found trouble with the law again.  It is being reported that Marshall was arrested for disorderly conduct --

Marshall was arrested Sunday in Atlanta and booked into the Atlanta City Jail on a disorderly conduct charge. Details of the events leading to Marshall's arrest are not known at this time. A supervisor at the jail would only tell ESPN's John Barr that Marshall was involved in a fight.

Marshall posted a $300 bond and has been released. This is the fourth arrest for Marshall since March 2006. He was suspended last season by the NFL for three games (later reduced to one) for violating the league's personal conduct policy.

Obviously this is something the Broncos had little need for.

disorderly conduct could mean

as little as a verbal altercation in a public forum. i can imagine some guy popping off at him and it escalating into something much bigger. $300 bond is not for something major.

I'm done with Marshall

For all the stories about how he’s turned a corner, settled down, proposed to his girlfriend, stabilized his life, blah blah blah … Most of us can make it through our entire lives without an arrest. He can’t make it through nine months.

I wasn’t perfect in my twenties, but I managed to navigate through without being arrested, let alone convicted of anything. So my sympathy and patience with this character who evidently lacks character is at its end.

Let this miscreant be someone else’s project to fox. McDaniels was trying to trade the wrong Pro Bowler.

But if you had been in the trouble he was ...

… both legally and, by extension, with the league, wouldn’t you be on your P’s and Q’s?

Let’s say that we were talking about traffic violations, and I’d had a speeding ticket. Another violation, and my insurance rates would skyrocket. So you can be damn sure I’d be hyper about watching my speedometer. I wouldn’t even want to go driving at night if I had a busted tail light for fear of being pulled over!

He ought to know better. Evidently he doesn’t. So not only is he a troublemaker, but he’s freaking stupid. My sympathy is for people who are wronged, people who are hurt and lose their jobs through no fault of their own. Not for this character.

Obviously something happened, but we have basically no facts. Chances are he did something, but if so it’s got to be very minor. Of course he’s on a much shorter leash because of past offenses, but in this particular instance, I think we have to wait for more info.

He already has done something wrong ...

… He plea-bargained on a DUI last September, which landed him on probation for one year … a year that is not finished. To say nothing about the arrest last March, also in Atlanta, and an arrest last June that was part of his September plea-bargain.

One’s an accident. Two’s a trend. Three’s a problem.

what are marshall shot bombs? and why did cutler rape them?

To love the Broncos is to suffer. To avoid suffering one must not love. But then one suffers from not loving. Therefore, to love is to suffer; not to love is to suffer; to suffer is to suffer. To be happy is to love. To be happy, then, is to suffer, but suffering makes one unhappy. Therefore, to be unhappy, one must love or love to suffer or suffer from too much happiness.

I know its off the subject but

We really need D-line help and Igor Olshanshy would help, i got this from rotoworld

The Packers reportedly plan to pursue free agent DE Igor Olshansky after losing out on Chris Canty.
Olshansky has never been as productive as Canty, but he should come at half the price. Green Bay needs competition for projected LE Johnny Jolly Jr

Atlanta

All sorts of bad stuff goes down here for NFL players. Ray Lewis, Pacman Jones, Michael Vick, just to name a few.

FWIW, BMarsh must’ve really been causing a scene. 90% of the APD were helping post-car wrecks today, since we had our bi-decade “snowstorm” and people lost their collective minds.

I don't wanna trade Jay but...

… imagine being traded to the Bengals or something. He outta realise that Denver’s a pretty good place to be. Same with B.Marsh.

I like Brandon. He just seems like a big kid. I continue to find it really hard to get angry with him. Even on this one. More disappointed than anything.

Ben Graham... check

Guys & Gals

After much thought I have made a decision:

Barring the STUPIDEST mistake EVER

Jay Cutler will wear Bronco Blue and Orange next season.

I expect Pat Bowlen to pull a Jerry Jones and say:

Look boys I run this show I don’t give a **** who you are or who you frickin think you are but if you want someone other than Jay, right there is the ****in’ door!

Then McD will say he is sorry and thank Mr. Bowlen for the coaching opportunity and buy Jay Cutler a house.

sigh.........

Of course this had to happen during the current debacle involving our franchise QB. Now our elite WR could possibly be facing a year long suspension… Pardon my language but what the fuck is happening to this franchise? What next… is Champ going to retire ? Im having a hard time dealing with all of this.

I expected more from

Mcdaniels, i won’t make any final judgements until we know what really happened but being a broncos fan in rhode island and watching the patriots on week to week basis (only thing on locally) i thought i had a good handle on mcdaniels and what he was all about. I guess i even arrogantly thought you guys would realize what i already knew once you saw him in action, and think that we had hired the right man but now i just dont want him to ruin our franshise!

by broncosfaninRI on Mar 2, 2009 2:16 AM MST reply actions

Geezuz.... flibbity.... christ.

This is not at all what I meant when I said I wanted to wake up to better news. Jay’s being more of a “waaah” type than ever, egged on by his agent, and Marshall gets arrested again… so all that stuff about reform was just water under the bridge?

Egads. Everyone’s got it wrong. We’re not the Patriots West, we’re the Cowboys North.
