NFL - The Rams have cut OT Orlando Pace after 12 years in St. Louis.
NFL - LB Mike Peterson has signed a 2-year deal with Atlanta, following his old DC Mike Smith to the Falcons a year later.
NFL - The Chargers have agreed to terms with free-agent LB Kevin Burnett, formerly of the Cowboys.
NFL - Nathan Hodel is Lonie Paxton's replacement in New England. Hodel spent 8 seasons with Arizona and has played in 112 consecutive games.
NFL - CB Travis Daniels has agreed to join the Chefs.
TN - The Titans hosted a couple of former Broncos, QB Patrick Ramsey and LB Jamie Winborn yesterday.
NFL - New England agreed to a one-year deal with CB Leigh Bodden.
NFL - Former top pick Alex Smith has re-negotiated his deal to stay with the 49ers.
NFL - Dallas signed S Gerald Sensabaugh, formerly of the Jaguars, to a one-year deal.
NFL - Linebacker and special-teamer Alfred Fincher has re-signed with the Redskins.
NJ - Eric Mangini is still raiding his former team's roster, signing former Jets LB David Bowens to a four-year deal. Bowens was drafted by the Broncos in 1999.
FOX - Mangini wasn't done, at that - the Browns have signed Jets restricted free-agent safety Abram Elam to a one-year offer sheet.
NFP - Steeler RT Willie Colon signed his RFA tender to remain in Pittsburgh.
NFL - LB Derrick Brooks does not plan on retiring and has not ruled out a return to the Buccaneers, who cut him on February 25th.

Ugh.
If the Broncos go back to the Bucs, a familiar suspect awaits. Can you imagine McDaniels taking Brian Griese back as part of a package for Cutler?
Among the candidates still out there: Charlie Batch, Kyle Boller, Brooks Bollinger, Jeff Garcia, Trent Green, Rex Grossman, Drew Henson, Byron Leftwich, J.P. Losman, Luke McCown and Anthony Wright.

I somehow don’t think Jay’s too worried about moving on to another team, if it comes to that. Aside from the players, he’s basically on a whole new team this year if he stays.
