Jay Cutler puts his home up for sale
http://www.thedenverchannel.com/news/18926235/detail.html
I can't believe he is doing this. He is blowing this way out of proportion. If we let him leave Denver it will be the worst move the Broncos organization has ever made. This is incredibly retarded. I'm so mad I dont no what else to say so I'm going to end the post like this.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
wow, this work limit thing sucks.

Damn
Maybe he’ll just live in his condo in Downtown? That’s better than hanging out with the old people in Castle Pines…

Why would he do that??
If Jay is heading out, I am not watching the broncos…maybe.

Maybe he just has a bad mortgage that is going to adjust soon :)
The timing is definitely not random, but I don’t think is any indication of Cutler’s plans for Monday.
by MattR on Mar 13, 2009 4:32 PM MDT up reply actions 0 recs
No, not for monday
but no matter what conditions exist that make him want to sell tehy are only money and investment related. The job that earns him that money is in jeapordy, so you would think there wouldn’t be a soul in his corner who would have not mentioned that putting his house up right now was not a good idea from a JOB perspective.
On the other hand, in this market maybe he’s hoping it sells by 2012….

The timing of it...
seems to make it AT LEAST a leverage move. crap.
has anyone checked to see if chris simms has put his home on sale, too?

It's one of 2 things -
He’s gone. Or, he’s angling for a new deal – a la Bus. We’ll see Monday. If he shows he’s angling, if he doesn’t show, he’s gone in my opinion. It’s possible that he doesn’t show on Monday / is angling, but that would be some pretty hard bargaining. If I ever meet Bus Cook face to face – I will punch him.

Well thats it
Forget it! Prepare for mediocrity for the next 5-10 years Bronco fans. We have lived with it for the last 8 years so I guess a few more wont matter. As for me I think I will take a year off from football after all there are other sports to watch and I just dont think I can take this anymore. GJ give me a call after you knock cook down, I gotta few knees to the gut I would like to deliver.

No need
Do what I do, tape game, go skiing. Relax after skiing with beer and hand and fast forward button ready if game turns out to be complete crap you don’t waste 3 hours getting mad finding out. Of course I live in Anchorage so I don’t need to run around with my fingers in my ears to avoid hearing what happened with the Broncos during the day.

13 - 3 Baby!!!
With the Simms as our QB!
I don’t want breakaway speed. I want break-some-poor-fool-as-I-bowl-you-over power getting 6 yards off a play that should have been stopped for 2 at most.

This move has Bus Cook's grubby fingerprints all over it.
Even if Jay isn’t seriously thinking about selling his house, the timing is way too suspect. Jay/Bus has to know the media will grab this and whip it into a frenzy. Its a leverage move as far as trying to get the front office to panic and offer him a huge contract…or at least it seems like it to me.
I’m echoing GJ, DN, and Jon’s sentiments about Bus Cook. The list of places he shouldn’t show his face is growing.

I love ya Mike
But face it this is a see ya later screw all of you type move from Jay. He knows what this move says to everyone and hes made up his mind. I like simms, I think he has alot of guts, but the talent level is just not the same. I will always love my Broncos but my heart is officially broken as is my hopes.

The timing is deliberate and obvious
It’s a power move, anyway you slice it. What will ahppen next? Only Bus and Jay know. Sad to see such a low classs move, though.

Thank you Jay
From all of us guys who work so hard everyday only to be $10.00 short of paying their electric bill. Thank you Jay for having the guts to say that even though I make millions of dollars a year I have the guts to tell my coach that I am as good as I say and will proove it. Thank you Jay for proving that all of us fans who had your back and got raked over the coals for it were proven wrong. Thank you Jay for not being there when all your fans needed you the most. Thank you Jay, from a fan who belived in you the most to the very end, and dashing his dreams. Thank you Jay for being the person I thought you were not and breaking my heart. Most of all, Thank you Jay, for reminding me how wonderful John Elway truly was for he was truly all the man that you are not, Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is not good
This is going a little too far. We will all know Monday if Cutler will be here this season, because if he dosen’t show up it’s over. Right now I’m just hoping that his team mates will have a intervention or coming to God moment with him, but I fear it’s just going to get worse every day.

Maybe he can move in with Shanny.
I mean, the Shanamansion has like 23 bedrooms. Maybe he just wanted to be close to his former mentor…
Or maybe he’s going for a $150 million contract that would let him build his own 87,000 square foot house, right next to Shanny’s.

What a Punk
And what a carefully orchestrated scheme by Bus Cook to get either a new record-breaking deal—either with the Broncos or some other team he’s trading to.
Cutler’s just playing along so he can get a new contract.

Bush kept his house in Texas when he was elected.

Cutler
Man, I have been a huge Cutler fan, and I thought he was the future of the Denver Broncos. Unless he is just moving into his Condo and this means nothing (which I doubt it does). I say goodbye to a spoiled little baby, First off he asked for a trade when Bates and Shanahan were let go. Then he heres his name in trade rumors and throws a Sh!t fit. How do we please Cutler now? He needs a dose of reality, he is a commodity in the NFL, if Joe Montana can be traded, I am sorry Jay, you can too. Grow up and act like a man. I am ready to trade him now, get who we can out of him, and lets move on. I am sick of this, this was suppose to be a great offseason for us. Bottom line if Cutler doesn’t want to be a Bronco, the he get him the hell out of there. There a tone of QB’s who would be dying to be in this system. I say so Long Jay and don’t let the door hit you on your spoiled, baby a$$.

everyone stop freaking out over denver post articles
He put that house on the market six months ago, its not his timing thats suspect, its how ridiculously the post has propped up this story for its own benefit. If Cutler doesn’t show up on monday, then yes we should all definitely start freak out, but not over some half-witted denver post story.

this is a story why?
he is selling a house thats not even his primary residence. Leave it to the lame denver media to try and drive up ratings on a house being sold. Like he is the first person to try and sell an extra residence. Again a non-story, but lets get all nuts over this. If he goes he goes. I for one will not lose one ounce of sleep over it. I root for the Broncos, while I like Cutler he needs to grow up. This team will be here long after Cutler is gone or not
