“DP – Krieger hears that Mr. B is livid.” actually links to the Klis article about Cutler’s home being put up for sale.
Just a heads up.
Hit the one in the middle.
I had a feeling Mr. B was angry at Cutler
You pay a guy millions and he goes public with hurt feelings over a business decision, and he doesn’t return your phone calls? I love Cutler’s sense of loyalty, but he has to understand teams don’t think that way and its working against him here.
Okay, no more Cutler comments from me this weekend. * radio silence *

Well, Krieger...
….just says “I hear”. Doesn’t even say “sources tell me”. For all I know he’s just listening to his parrot.
Yet must thou sail after knowledge, knowing less than drugged beasts.

and the article is siding with Cutler
so I think he is taking a little poetic license with his attributions. I think it needs to be viewed as an editorial, rather than straight up report on news about what Bowlen is thinking right now….
Concision in style, precision in thought, decision in life.

I do wish we knew what Mr. Bowlen is thinking right now.
It would lower my anxiety a bit to know which way he was leaning. Though I’m pretty sure that he would go McD’s way if it came down to the either/or scenario. I’m also pretty sure it won’t come to that in the end.
I agree
If it comes to Jay vs Josh, Bowlen has no choice but to trade Jay and keep Josh. Jay has trade value, Josh has a huge contract that would have to be honored.

Morning all
I have to say… Vic Carucci’s sources sure make a lot more sense than Bus Cook’s “anonymous” comments. Good article.

Wherever you stand on the Cutler-McDaniels issue
I think this statement from Krieger’s article is a good, concise summary of how things got to this point.
It must have been quite a surprise for Cutler to learn he was just another employee, like you or me, and should act like one. Over the past three years, whenever he didn’t comb his hair or wear a tie, someone was quick to point out he held the most high-profile job in Colorado, more prominent than even the governor’s.
So which is it? Does he have a job that requires a commitment above and beyond the call, or is he just another working stiff?
