TSN covers Cutler demands, Putzier signing
The Sporting News' daily (it's free - and a great daily update) used the front page of its Pro Football section to cover the Cutler controversy. Check it out! Easily missed in the bottom right of that section - the Broncos signed TE Jeb Putzier to a one-year contract. If Tony Scheffler chooses to follow the Bus down the road, the Broncos are already making sure that they have player ready to go. Looks like Scheffler has chosen to make this trade rumors a self-fulfilling prophecy. Gosh, who's at the center of both debates?

The Buss is the common thread.
Too bad for Scheffler.

If bus is using scheffler to increase his leverage in the cutler dealings
I will officially consider him to be pond scum. Man that will be bad news bears if it turns out that is what he is up to. Even if he is just trying to make McD look like the bad guy, he has no right to bring scheffler into the mix. We’ll have to see about what the Broncos have to say about the Scheffler trade, see what kind of plan they had for him.

That would be a conflict of interest
If bus is using scheffler to increase his leverage in the cutler dealings
And hopefully would get him into trouble with the NFL and the NFLPA. But I think he is doing exactly that.

One thing sounds pretty good . . .
“Like it or not, McDaniels may not be far behind Cutler on the road out of town.”
I like it.

Report: Lions interested in talking to Jay Cutler

If the trade does go through, at least one of the picks needs to be their #1 next year. It’s a chance to set up the Patriot draft strategy of having two #1s every year: each draft, trade the lower first round pick for a crappy team’s #1 the next year.

No offense but Putzier is not even in Schefler's class
Again, I don’t see the value of this signing, I mean we cut the guy, he couldn’t make it in Denver south, and now we bring him back for an offense that generally doesn’t feature TE’s that much and Putzier’s blocking was terrible.

in my opinion, the ONLY WAY to esolve this cutler issiue is to give him a long term huge contract. that wood solve everything

That would solve Cutler's problem
but it would mean certain mediocrity for the team because they would tie up too much money in one person.

It would also solve keep his agent quiet.
