Draft day questions
First fanpost (and i couldn't decide if it really should be a "shot") so if it needs moving then not to worry.
With all the "HooHaa" and fall out of the Jay Cutler / Josh McDaniels / Bus Cook back and forth it has got me into thinking.
Does this have a potential impact on the Denver draft?
Would Denver now avoid Bus Cook clients and who does this mean we might potentially skip over?
Personally I think they just might avoid trying to deal with him in the near future.

Good first post...
If Cutler gets traded our draft will be MAJORLY effected. I concur, I would not touch any Bus Cook client EVER and woul;d lock him out of Dove Valley!
Those that cant coach, compete!
Failing to plan is planning to fail.
I think that they and a lot of other teams are gonna stay away from Bus Cook
As for the draft, yes this has a major impact on the draft, especially if a deal gets done before then. Only 5 more weeks to find out…..
I hope that my avatar is a sign of things to come for a verrrrry long time :-)
I have a front page post later today on this issue.
I think the free agency signings Denver has made on defense buys Denver a lot of flexibility with the draft. By allowing us to move from a “draft by need” to “best available”, I believe we now the the padding to use draft picks as tools to protect us from a potential crisis. We can trade our picks (along with our QB) in many more ways now.
The post is “Defense – Denver’s New Faces”.

Hoosierteacher,
Real quick, just wanted to tell you that me and my wife really enjoy your postings. She is learning about football, and (as a college educated woman married to a blue collar guy) she is able to understand things better when she reads your posts. She speaks of it quiet often.
Just wanted to extend my gratitude for the time you take putting those posts together for us. Thanks.

Thank YOU!
MHR is nothing without folks like you and your wife who come here to read, write, and visit. It’s the readers and the discussions that drive MHR, not the staff writers. I’m grateful that you’re both here!

I read recently that Cook
has failed to land any big clients from this draft, so hopefully we, and the rest of the league are safe.

Phew
I can sleep easy this year. :)
I don’t want breakaway speed. I want break-some-poor-fool-as-I-bowl-you-over power getting 6 yards off a play that should have been stopped for 2 at most.
