Correll Buckhalter Denies Claims of Drug Dealer
"First of all, this news caught both Correll and me by surprise this morning," agent J.R. Rickert told The Associated Press. "When I found out, I talked to Correll, who said to me there is absolutely no validity to the allegation that was made. He did not purchase drugs from this individual or speak to this individual on the phone."

What? Drugs? Again?
I still don’t understand guys with millions on the line doing something so STUPID! even if it was 2001

Again, prosecuter brought this up
So I have some issue with this being the dealer bringing this up, maybe the prosecuter is trying to get some pub for the case, but seems kind of odd to bring it up if there is no validity to the claim.

This isn’t the first time Buck has been connected with weed. He was arrested in his rookie year for rolling down south street in Philadelphia with weed in his car and the stench so pungent that cops smelled it from their own car… He was suspended after that incident.
So there’s little doubt that he probably bought weed from this guy… but I highly doubt prosecutors care who the guy’s clients were. Who ever has been arrested because someone else said they used drugs? Cops could care less about that… He won’t be charged or anything.
Plus, Buck has never tested positive to my knowledge. So while he probably does smoke(like many in the NFL) he’s smart enough to avoid getting caught. He might get a couple extra random drugs tests thrown his way from the commish, but I can’t see how he gets in any real trouble. Goodell may be heavy handed, but he’s not going suspend a guy over hearsay.
That's a pretty bold claim
So while he probably does smoke(like many in the NFL)…
What makes you believe that most athletes in the NFL do that?

I have heard many claims by ex-NFL guys that they smoked and knew how not to get caught
Micheal Irvin will tell you that most of the Cowboys smoked weed and just knew when to stop so they would avoid testing positive, Matt Lepis admitted it, I have heard other guys talking about it. I think it is more rampent than a lot of people want to admit.

I don't know about that
Marijuana stays in your system for a long time (at least a week) so it would be pretty difficult to “just know when to stop”.
Yet must thou sail after knowledge, knowing less than drugged beasts.

Will it matter?
I think with the stable of running backs already assembled and based on this guy’s productivity to date, he’ll be very lucky to make the team.
