Charges against Brandon Marshall dropped
"A disorderly conduct charge against Brandon Marshall, who was arrested in Atlanta on Sunday, has been dropped and his case has been dismissed, a source close to the Denver Broncos wide receiver tells ESPN's Michael Smith."
Remember, the NFL doesn't need a conviction in order to act, but with news coming so quickly that everything has been dismissed leads me to believe that everyone that was around whatever incident that happened was thrown in the "paddy-wagon".

I got rounded up like that once, and I had absolutely nothing to do with the incident...
This can only be seen as really good news.

Non issue.
Thank god. Man, I feel bad for Brandon for having going through this. I suppose a guy could say he needs to stay away from clubs and such, but that’s unfair. As long as he’s not the one instigating fights and punching other humans in the face, then there is no need to punish the man, formally or informally (i.e., here).

I'm not a religious man, but thank god for this piece of news!
He may not be out of the woods completely, but we shouldn’t have to worry about losing him for 8 games anymore… My heart feels better now…

I think we should give Guru a raise.
Don’t know what we would have done without his insight and prompt updates this past weekend. But I suspect a window ledge might have been involved.

funniest animation that could have been applied to this situation

but it is part of a longer term trend related to free agency info and answers…

Voluntary house arrest Brandon, please!
I know sometimes it’s unavoidable, but seriously, with as many strikes against him he needs to be aware of his surroundings.
exactly, still something to be said for being in the wrong situations

seriously, we need a Broncos Island… some sunny, warm paradise where these guys can hang out, relax, and do whatever away from anyone who can arrest them…

What is this...
GOOD news? About the Broncos?
After this weekend I was terrified when I got that CBS text. I thought Clady had broken his leg or something.
This looks like a good thing for Brandon. Hopefully the league sees how fast the charges were dropped.
haha don't jinx us with that Clady talk...

He's not out of the woods
Goodell has really been hamming it up on the (racialized) good-behavior stuff since he took over. I bet Marshall gets suspended anyway in keeping with the Commish’s lame new-sherriff-in-town act.
It would be a travesty if he were...
There is no charge, and the charge which existed for a mere few hours was the lamest, most meaningless charge there is.

Agreed -- it would be ridiculous
But Goodell’s been working overtime to burnish the league’s image for a certain kind of consumer. I fear that travesty is what we would get.

he thinks the Broncos went from winners to losers in this current FA period NOT because of the newly signed players but because of the ripped relationship with Cutlet and coach.
