Overall, I thought it was good. McD seems to be pushing for a resolution, but I can see where his choice of words might frustrate Cutler a little bit.

If Cutler is waiting for Coach to say “You’re MY guy for the long haul”, then he’s gonna be sorely disappointed. Of course, he said “Jay’s our guy… he’s our quarterback”, but when pressed for a possible long term answer, he seemed kind of vague and unwilling to go “all in”.

However, it is my FIRM belief that if Jay gets his tail into camp and the relationship gets fixed, you’ll see McDaniels become more assured that their futures lie on the same path and not apart.

It’s just my opinion and maybe a little hopeful thinking.
