Pros: Stout, powerful frame. ... Legitimate NFL athlete. ... Good straight-line speed.
Cons: Shorter than scouts would prefer. ... Bit of a "tweener."
Styg's Broncos Fit: DJ's little brother is long on athleticism and short on instincts. Legitimate speed, quickness and balance, coupled with experience at multiple LB positions make him worthy of a long look, but outside of more brotherly intrigue on the defense, there doesn't look to be a lot of draw with this pick. He is undersized, not nearly as productive as you would like a pure athlete ILB to be, and he has awareness issues in coverage. One star, mostly for upside.

My belief is it's opened up a lot of opportunities for me, and I embrace that, I'm not going to shy away from that, he's my brother.
"He paved the way for me and I want to be sure I don't mess up. Do my thing and follow on that path." [see more...]
