You know, as much as I like to wake up to Horse Tracks
I like it much better now that there’s no news. Thanks as always, NYC :)
I seem to have lost my future self.
Classic lol

Funny stuff! Nice work, Big Apple.

Not a betting man
is 5 to 9 good, bad or ugly? Or does it just represent that no one knows what’s going to happen and the bookies are just guessing ;)
And I enjoy ’Tracks with my lunch.
Bet 5 get 9
slightly worse than a coin toss (bet 5 get 10). It means the people with money are generally betting that Cutler stays a Bronco. Its 7-2 Jets and 4-1 Lions.

Wouldn't it be bet 9, get 5? (for a total of 14)
Since the Broncos are heavy favorites to retain Cutler you win less if you win. On the other hand, since the Lions are long odds you win more, 4 dollars per dollar bet, if you win. I think you have it backwards, but then, this stuff has always confused me so you could be right.

Thanks NYC
I just wanted to mention the USA Today article on Left Tackles. I know we’re Denver, but by almost any measure we had the best offensive line in football last year. Where does that get us mentioned? 80% of the column in. Ryan Clady got about 4 sentences on what would have likely been after the break had it been in newsprint. I can’t actually comment on the article since I only read the first three paragraphs before scanning for Clady’s name, but I wasn’t that impressed… And people wonder why newspapers are going out of business…
Were the nice things said about Prater because we can't sign New England's kicker?

Yes, it is.
After all that went on for two straight weeks, it is nice to have a break from things for a while.
