NFP - Oh, Klis' remark that Cutler could get traded by the time the draft rolls around? I guess NFP is hoping it has legs. How about that for journalism?

Ok, I will be accused of bashing Jay Cutler again but....
Is the kid an idiot???? Seriously, I cant believe how calm Pat Bowlen is.
“I have put in a request to speak with him but he has not replied to me yet.” WHAT? ARE YOU KIDDING ME.
He does npt have the good sense to speak to the owner and the guy that s payng him millions of dollars.
All I can say is WOW…that Vandy education hard at work. This is insane.
Thanks as always NYC…always appreciated!

it shows bad business sense
man a guy who holds all the chips to make your career successful and you dont call him back. Also I think those quotes say a lto about who is in charge here. This as a Bolwen vs. Cook games and so far Bowlen is winning. Cook has a pair of twos while Bowlen has a Ace King and the flop shows Q Queen Jack and 10 in the same suit. Seems like cook is looking for the turn and flop to be twos in the game. advice from a sucky card player cook: FOLD NOW!

Good Morning nyc, Thanks for Horse Tracks...

clayton..
I usually like Clayton but can he give a reason why he thinks it will end in two weeks or it is just a complete guess based on no real reasons?
“I think it will end in two weeks” “umm… ok”
I can’t imagine having the balls to not respond to the person signing my checks.
On cutler...
I hate to bring JC into this again…
I loved Jay. I loved his relationship with B.Marshal, Sheff, he Clasy, Royal… it seemed like a tight team and he was in the middle of it. They looked like a fun offense.
As much as I’d love to keep his talent on this team and I’m sure a few wins would go down the drain, but I support the Broncos. Always have, always will and I think I’ve had it up to here with Cutler. I think I’m ready to say get rid of him… he’s turned on the broncos. I’m starting to feel the same way about him as I did during the Lelie saga. Just bugger off. I don’t care about what we get in return, it could be a house brick for all i care.
Though it would be nice if that house brink knew how to play NT hehe
I’d also like to trade Klis for some mortar to help bury bury this bloody issue.

yup...
I mean… I just don’t see how a guy who plays football for a living can’t take it like a man

Krieger....you suck
“I think there’s a significant minority chance he (Jay Cutler) will not be a Bronco.”
Really Dave? You came up with that beauty to throw caution into the wind and put yourself out there? IDIOT! Ugh, I wish I would have watched that NFLN piece before I drank my double shot cup of black.
I was looking forward to Path to the Draft last night
With the Broncos “on the clock,” I figured it would be pretty interesting. Charley Casserly has been on the program most nights, and he is one of the more insightful personalities on NFLN. So, the Broncos come up and they roll out Dave Krieger and all they really talk about is Cutler. Needless to say, I was pretty disappointed. Then at the very end they asked who will the Broncos draft. “BJ Raji” Very helpful. He will be gone.
Too bad Adam Schefter has gone MIA. He would have had something more insightful (or at least interesting) to say. I guess Adam will re-surface somewhere else when his NFLN contract expires in August.
What does that even mean anyway?
“Significant minority chance?” I guess it means, “there’s a very small chance but that chance is more exciting than what the odds are pointing to, so I’ll mention it, and make up some gibberishy phrase to refer to it by.”
Oh how I’d love to be part of the significant minority some day.
Great job as usual but I have a small request
Any chance you can make a note by links that are to videos? It is not that big a deal, but depending on which computer I am using and where I am there are times that I can’t watch the videos (and it is kinda annoying to figure that out after you have already clicked)
Was glad to read Peter King’s take on expanding the NFL season. I had not seen anyone else point out that exchanging preseason games for regular season games is not an even swap in terms of playing time by starters. Despite what Goodell says, this is a decision made to benefit the owners, not the fans.
NFL network segment... 5min and 17secs i want back
what a worthless segment. as if this story has not been told enough. then to say only one name for the draft. worthless. that guy kreiger, or whatever his name is, sucks . Go broncos!!!
One down side to MHR
I have discovered a down side to following the Broncos through MHR over the last two months. Most of the people who post here keep us at least one step ahead (perhaps many more than that) of the MSM. As a result, you will no longer be satisfied with any Broncos-related news or analysis done on NFLN, ESPN, Channel 4, etc. On the other hand, with Tivo, you can skip through much of the content of those shows. Much more efficient!
Less than four weeks to the draft!
Excellent as always NYC
Man it just sounds like Bowlen knows whos boss!

Off the Cutler subject, but onto the preseason
Has there been any progress on the Training Camp MHR-athon?
I’m planning on coming with my son, but we need to start making plans pretty soon. I’ve been away from MHR for a couple of months, now that I’ve full-time work again and don’t know if it’s been discussed lately. I imagine that McJayGate has taken up most of the space here lately, but wanted to see if anymore definite plans have been made.
