Numerous attempts to contact Jay Cutler in the last 10 days, both by Head Coach Josh McDaniels and myself, have been unsuccessful. A conversation with his agent earlier today clearly communicated and confirmed to us that Jay no longer has any desire to play for the Denver Broncos. We will begin discussions with other teams in an effort to accommodate his request to be traded

Jay, buddy I hope this is a smoke screen by Denver because you are really shooting yourself in the foot with this action.

Bowlen's Decision
Complete speculation here, but I believe that Pat Bowlen has decided he is done with Cutler. I do not have to deal with elite athlete’s egos; but if I were paying someone $40+ million over six years and that person would not even give me the courtesy of answering my phone calls I would dump him ASAP.
