Broncos may have signed Lamont Jordan
I cant find any mention of this anywhere else but Fox 31 News in Denver is reporting:
Veteran NFL running back LaMont Jordan has agreed on a 2-year deal with the Denver Broncos, according to NFL sources who spoke to FOX 31's Josina Anderson Wednesday morning.
The sources told Josina that the deal had not been signed yet, but an agreement had been reached for two years and $2.5 million.
Jordan, 30, spent the 2008 season with New England where he carried the ball 80 times for 363 yards and 4 touchdowns.
The 8th-year veteran was in Arizona Monday meeting with the Cardinals organization, Anderson reports.
Jordan's best season was 2005 when he rushed for 1,025 yards and scored 9 rushing TDs and two receiving TDs. He spent the first four seasons of his career with the New York Jets.
Seems like a depth move with Arrington going elsewhere but I dont think Lamont can return kicks like Arrington could. Also he is another New Englander that McD is bringing with him.

Hey...ya know, I think Im really starting to like this experienced, value added approach. High quality, high caliber, established NFL performers.
Actually, he the same size as Travis Henry, great power rusher, good compliment to Correll/Peyton. Fits right in with the prototypical player the Broncos are using to stabilize and build around! Plus, he comes from New England with a knowledge of AFC West.
Shanahan tried to get him, but Al Davis made sure that wasnt happening, so he sold him directly to New England!

Thanks for the post, purplesocks
Most of all, thanks for putting “may have” in your title. That is responsibility at its best.

Two words...
J.J. Arrington.
I’ll wait until the deal is signed, sealed and delivered…. If so, I don’t think this is a bad signing and wanted Jordan last year when the Raiders let him go.
This move also helps with the offensive scheme switch.
