Interesting Interview
Hello MHR, I'm one of the writers over at BattleRedBlog, the SB Nation site dedicated to the Houston Texans. As I was perusing different NFL related articles around the internet, I found something that I thought you all might find interesting.
Even though you tormented my childhood as an Oilers fan, I've really liked watching the Broncos since you started playing Cutler because whether you love or hate his off the field personality, his physical talent to play the QB position is amazing. Due to his skill level, I found Josh McDaniels' desire to trade him amazingly bold and stupid. Although I do realize Cutler has a bad habbit of sticking his foot in his mouth and seaming whiny, he has produced a lot in his short career.
Anyways, I didn't come to your site to tell you how I feel about Cutler, I came to share an interview with you. I don't know how popular Scott Hastings is as a TV personality in Denver, but he shared some pretty strong opinions about Cutler on the Dan Patrick Show yesterday. Just thought I would share this with you guys. Good luck next season, I hope you kick the crap out of the Chargers (I hate Phillip Rivers and Norv Turner).
This is a Fan-Created Comment on MileHighReport.com. The opinion here is not necessarily shared by the editorial staff of MHR

Scott Hastings, world class moron
I do enjoy a lecture from an NBA scub that played on the dirtiest team in the league and basks in being a bench warmer and thug for the team, this coming from an NBA player who are the biggest prima dona/me first guys on the planet.

Hey TT
Thanks for the heads up anyway. But, are the Texans going to match Denver’s offer for David Anderson?

Texans matched the Broncos’ three-year, $4.5 million offer sheet to WR David Anderson, meaning he’ll stay in Houston.
If the Broncos had really wanted him, they would’ve had to offer considerably more. Anderson will make minimum salaries over the next three seasons and got a meager $1 million signing bonus. Anderson, who caught 19 balls last year, will return as Houston’s fourth receiver, behind Andre Johnson, Kevin Walter, and Andre’ Davis. He also contributes on special teams.

Kubiak doesn't limit Denver poaching to players
He likes your coaches too.

Sorry to hear it
Anderson’s a football player – like to have had him in Denver.

I kind of like Scott Hastings...
He does a good job, along with Chris Marlowe, calling the Nuggets games. However, there are a LOT of people in Denver that strongly disagree on that point. They tend to talk about totally obscure and random things and bitch about the refs constantly; however, I find them quite funny (most the time when they’re not trying to be funny). Hastings has been a prominent figure on the Denver sports scene for a looooong time.
Unfortunately, I think Hastings is WAY out of line on this one. I was sorry to hear that he said what he did.
To love the Broncos is to suffer. To avoid suffering one must not love. But then one suffers from not loving. Therefore, to love is to suffer; not to love is to suffer; to suffer is to suffer. To be happy is to love. To be happy, then, is to suffer, but suffering makes one unhappy. Therefore, to be unhappy, one must love or love to suffer or suffer from too much happiness.

I agree
I like Hastings as well. I liked him a lot better when he was teamed up with Alfred Williams on the Summit Pro Football Edition. I have DirecTV and that is the only local Denver show I can get though. What happened to Big Al on that show anyway?
Thanks to Mike Shanahan, a great coach who will be dearly missed.
Hillis for starter next year. He wears special thigh pads so his solid brass balls don't give him repeated thigh contusions.

You have no idea
I’m a Marine and I used to be stationed in San Diego, so I had a lot of exposure to the Chargers. I didn’t mind Schottenheimer too much, but I think Norv is one of the worst head coaches in the league. He is incredibly whinny and he does take responsibility for anything. Rivers just seems like a little kid. The moment that protrays him for me is the playoff game when he was talking smack back to the Indianapolis fans. It’s not like they’re close to being rivals, but because of the two of them I root against them every week.

Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play...;-)

TT, how many Broncos are Texans now?
I always enjoy seeing Broncos continue their careers with Kubiak. He was a Bronco who was a classy contributor to our success for many years.
BTW I was in the Corps a long time ago, I was 0341, 0311 & 8541 in STA 2/4. Lots of good times and good memories.
I agree, Larsen shouldn’t get any bigger. I am getting tired of his bone crushing hits knocking the pixels off my TV, once they fall to the floor they are very hard to find.

Quite a career
There aren’t actually as many former Denver players as there are former Denver coaches and front office personnel. We have you guys to thank because a good majority of our staff worked in Denver at one point or another. Kubiak actually takes a lot of flak for this from some of the local Houston media. I, like most of the Texans fans, kind of respect him for hiring staff that he knows are good from personal experience.
As far as fromer players, Nick Ferguson is the only one that comes to mind that I know played in Denver.
