DP - Woody bumbles, babbles and flings blame, mostly in the direction of Josh McDaniels.

Gees Porkchop and ESPN are a bunch of idiots!
Those that cant coach, compete!
Failing to plan is planning to fail.
The Cutler article is a great read...
On a few different levels:
1) I was shocked and almost moved to hear mentoring-type comments from Plummer. That was interesting…
2) A good reminder, as many here have said, that the Elway early years was not always a fairy tale either.
3) The reminder that what you see is what you get with Cutler, we should not be surprised if when asked about being traded, Cutler would come out and just say he’s not happy with it
4) Loyalty angle… again, I am totally in Cutler’s corner in the sense that if I also felt like I was lied to at my job, after all I’ve given these past 9 years, I would not take lightly to it at all. Whether or not he was truly lied to… who knows. =/
In any case, here’s to hoping that McD’s and Cutler can work out their differences in the coming days and Cutler will remain a Bronco for life!
+1
Well said.

I remember
that Sharpe trade proposal 13 years ago. The Fabulous Sports Babe had her show on ESPN2 back then, and they were talking about the draft. She reported a rumor about a trade which would send Sharpe and Mike Pritchard to Arizona for Eric Swann. Thank goodness that trade didn’t go down. Same thing with the Elway deal in 1991 or 92. Bronco history would be a whole heck of a lot worse if those trades were made.
Yup
We’d still be looking for our first SuperBowl and first HOFer.
