Y! - David Cornwell, who is one of the candidates to replace the late Gene Upshaw as head of the NFLPA, believes Commissioner Goodell's disciplinary decisions should be independently reviewed.

SI - Kerry Byrne from ColdHardFootballFacts.com believes T.O. will have a major impact for the Bills in 2009.

FOX - Meanwhile, Buffalo's football royalty were a bit shocked at the signing.

I can’t imagine a smart guy like McDaniels wouldn’t find an innovative way to use Hillis’s unique skill set. Can’t wait to see how he does it.

Holt would be a solid addition to our team and I think he’d have at least 2 – 3 years left in him in our offense…can you imaging a 4wr set with Marshall, Royale, Holt, and Stokely with Hillis as the back in a shotgun formation?

Wonder if McX is interested

and if so whether they are waiting for him to be released so we don’t have to give up a pick. Me, I’d spend it. But wouldn’t that also lock us into the remainder of his contract, or would we renegotiate?

but I think Holt is just like signing Jackson last year…I don’t think he’ll see much time or be able to produce much/stay healthy. And it could be more like signing Rice.

Of course I had him in FF a few years back and he was a beast. So i’m not anti-holt I just don’t think he’d really do much for us.

I miss john mobley. I miss al wilson. and I REALLY miss steve atwater. I miss a lot of the guys on defense we seem to forget too soon. heck, after last year, I even miss mike croel.

there’s plenty to be downright giddy about on the offensive side of the ball. there’s so many weapons it’s scary. here’s hoping mr. dawkins brings the forgotten guts, class, and pride back to our defense.
