There is a report that Daniel Snyder and Mike Shanahan have had a meeting. There is speculation that Shanahan will be Washington's new Head Coach next year-maybe even this year. I think it would be interesting if Shanahan got to coach a team with both Cutler and Portis! Snyder is a wheeler and dealer, loves the attention, and wants to win. I don't think Mike would like the situation, but the Redskins would be pretty solid with Cutler, Portis, Moss, Cooley and Haynesworth.

That said, if McDaniels is in love with USC QB Mark Sanchez, I think he should trade Cutler to Detroit for the #1 pick and get his man. Cutler to Calvin Johnson would be fun to watch while McDaniels turns Sanchez into the next Tom Brady.

and I’ll say for the record that I believe if, IF McD goes for a QB in the draft, he will go after Sanchez. He’ll cut the throat and go early for him too.

Not so fast...

Even though I don’t think this will play out because the Broncos do not want the #1 pick, do not be so quick to throw Stafford to the side because of his physical abilities now COMBINED with his unusually high Wunderlik score of 38.
Having typed that, I am all for either Stafford or Sanchez because of the NE system and the season that Matt Ryan had in Atlanta last year (see Flaco as well…).
