MHR Community Mock Draft--Pick #35

With the #35 pick in the 2009 MHR Community Mock Draft, the St. Louis Rams select....

DT, RON BRACE, BOSTON COLLEGE

St. Louis Rams

Round 2, Pick #35 overall

GM 53Guys

Details of the pick after the jump...

Star-divide

Not another one of our guys....

From GM 53Guys:  I'll say that St. Louis will draft Ron Brace with pick #35. My
justification: St. Louis was just as bad as the Broncos on defense last
year. It all starts with the line.

*****

Commish's Thoughts:  Short and sweet, and emminently true.  I covered St.Louis' offseason  and free agency period for Mocking the Draft, and felt like I got a pretty good handle on their needs from the back and forth from the SBNation rams fans.   They really felt like talent was needed everywhere, but that some key areas stood out, and the defensive line was one of them.  they have little to no depth, and inconsistent starters (though there is serious potential in the group).  They no doubt rate Brace high, and so it goes, yet another Denver target is gone.

I do not think they will take him

their last 2 first rounder were Carriker NT and Long DE. The have a huge need at WR and I think that is the direction they go in the 2nd
