Tony Scheffler situation
I'm curious to see what is going to happen with Scheffler. He's a great talent when on the field, but is hurt too much. He quietly demanded a trade after Cutler was dealt and is a client of the doucheba...er....Bus Cook. I believe some team out there will give us another 3rd round pick for him. Which has to happen to get him out of Denver so we have no lingering effects of McJaygate. Also Dan Graham has played exceptionally well in this new offense.

ditto
He’ll only get better, and the reason why he is not gone has not been certain. Maybe he sees something in this ‘new’ team that makes him want to stay. After reading Dumervil’s blog the other day (he sounded sincere) is things are looking good…
Problem is...
…he’s not around the facility to know whether things are ‘looking good’ or not. He must not be very bright, though, because good players good for a half a season are a dime a dozen in this league. I’m not sure where he gets off requesting anything, politely or not.

Hopefully he will be smarter and stay
so he can get better with McDaniels here. And stay healthy too.
GO BRONCOS IN 2009 AND BEYOND!!
He was good before
but he will ROCK in McD’s aggressive short passing game!!
C’mon Scheff — think of all those LBs you can jump over!!!

"This was pretty big talk from a guy that once quit the team 12 hours before kickoff 8 weeks into the season. He quit the night before a game. We were 4-4 and we needed him. I had to go out there and I had two rookies and a third-year guy playing receiver and I'd rather go out there with some guys who wanted to play with their hearts." I hope he stays.
Sheff is a really good receiving target and I think he is getting better at blocking. Plus, if we trade him, that’s another hole to fill on the roster with a draft pick that may not work out. We know Sheff is good. We don’t know if the new guy will be.
Words are flowing out like endless rain into a paper cup. They slither wildly as they slip away across the universe. Pools of sorrow, waves of joy are drifting through my opened mind. Possessing me and caressing me. - The Beatles
It's amazing how much The Beatles knew about MHR before MHR existed.
I like Him
But if he doesn’t get on board with being here then I don’t think you want to let him in the locker room. At that point I would sell high.
Did he go to Mini Camp?
If he dosen't show up..
for minicamp this weekend then the writing’s on the wall. He seems a little arrogant with his approach and while I’m all for sticking up for your friends, #6 is gone- show up or shut up- I’d trade him in a heartbeat for Roscoe Parrish and Buffalo’s 3rd rounder. If we need to move up in the draft then he becomes a perfect dealmaker.. while I think he has some talent I also think that signing Putz as quickly as they did in free agency lends itself to the theory that Tony is not on board.
