MHR Community Mock Draft Pick #36

With the #36 pick in the 2009 MHR Community Mock Draft, the Cleveland Browns select....

FS, LOUIS DELMAS, WESTERN MICHIGAN

Cleveland Browns

Round 2, Pick #36 overall

GM Zappa

Details of the pick after the jump...

Star-divide

Not another one of our guys....

From GM Zappa:  Even with the beastly Hamza Abdullah roaming the secondary, the
Browns are hurting for a replacement after losing Sean Jones to free
agency. With their second pick of the 2009 NFL draft, the Cleveland
Browns select, Louis Delmas of Western Michigan. This pick will
surely fill the void left by Sean Jones and instantly improves the
teams secondary.

*****

Commish's Thoughts:  It won't take long for the safety crop to thin out in this year's draft, and Zappa is leading the charge by leapfrogging Delmas over Chung.  Delmas has some questions to answer about the competition he faced in college, but overall he is a solid prospect who is a mature leader with legit playmaking skills.

I really didn't know how to vote . . .

I’m for voting Zappa for President then hanging him by his toes.

Oh the selection . . . it was pretty good . . .

Never argue with a fool, lest you take on his appearance. - my daddy

I agree...

Most Presidents of anything need to be hung by their toes.

I’ll lead that charge!

Verbose in style, dispersion of thought, procrastination in life.

Bad Pick

The Browns already have a good FS in Brodney Pool, and Delmas is a projected FS. We need an SS to replace Jones. Plus our OLB need is more important than our S need.

by BradyQuinnisBeast on Apr 17, 2009 5:39 PM MDT reply actions

Plus the Browns can take Chung with our 50th pick we got from trading winslow

And also tyson Jackson would be the steal of the draft here and he fits the browns defense perfectly
