MHR Community Mock Draft Pick #37

With the #37 pick in the 2009 MHR Community Mock Draft, the Seattle Seahawks select....

C, MAX UNGER, OREGON

Seattle Seahawks

Round 2, Pick #37 overall

GM Denver Native

Details of the pick after the jump...

Star-divide

Not another one of our guys....

From GM Denver Native:  He is a perfect fit in The Hawks Zone-Blocking scheme and Matt Hasselback needs alot of help. Max has great feet and should be a fine addition to the already boosted Seahawks line.

*****

Commish's Thoughts:  Unger has leapfrogged Alex Mack as the top center prospect on may boards, and he is certainly one of the most ersatile and athletic.  He is yet another top talent that was suited to Denver's scheme as well, or better than, most other teams out there.

ON THE CLOCK

The Cincinnati Bengals are up next.

The deadline for this pick is Noon MST, April 18th.  As long as I receive the pick by that time it will be valid.  To send me the pick, just email me at the address shown in my profile.

IMO

There are at least 2 players that have no business still being on the board (meaning they are all but sure 1st round picks) and another 2 that I would bet money will go in the first round.

Surely their respective falls will end soon (no doubt before my pick for the 49ers).

These guys were exactly who Seattle was looking for.
