NFLN - Mike Mayock and Charles Davis were mightily impressed by Mark Sanchez and his workout yesterday at USC. Mayock calls Sanchez the "safest bet" amongst the QB prospects.

LAT - USC Coach Pete Carroll changed his tune on Sanchez.

NFLN - Mayock and Davis also analyzed the workouts of the USC linebackers. Mayock was most impressed by Clay Matthews, who he calls a 3-down 'backer. Plus, Matthews and Brian Cushiing each played the "elephant" position at USC.
