Wow, that is interesting
Falcons become a very interesting team next year, their offense could be very good, scary good, myabe worth a SB bet good.

The line probably has been adjusted by now
I wonder what it is?
There is no army so powerful as an idea whose time has come.

The most current line I found on Atlanta
is 16 to 1. I am sure it will get lower with the trade. The website I found was last updated on April 10th.

ALRIGHT
Finally we dont have to watch him catch passes over are Db’s and Lb’s twice a year.

Tell me this doesn't remind you of another "HOF" caliber TE
going to a contender to get a SB ring…. I’m thrilled that we don’t have to compete against Gonzo twice a year anymore. Seems like a win-win trade.

the Falcons are not a contender
they had a fairly easy schedule last year and their schedule this year is much harder. I do not see them winning 11 games again

Yeah, WE beat Atlanta last year. lmao

Easy, is that because they got to beat up on the AFC West, LOL
They still have Carolina, NO, and TB twice a year, little tougher than having Oak, KC, and SD twice a year.

i disagree...
outside of the Giants (IMO the team that should’ve won it all last year), the NFC is still a joke and the Dirty Birds have just as much chance to come out of there as anyone else. It’s not about winning 11 games, it’s about getting into the playoffs and making a run. :)

I am happy we do not have to face
him twice a year. It is a bad move by the Chiefs. The aquire Matt Cassell and now they only have Bowe for him to throw to lol. They have to be looking at WR in the draft

I won't lose any sleep over not have to face him.

This move by KC is mainly b/c they acquired Cassell
They had to clear up cap space to afford his large tender.
If we could have just screwed another head on his shoulders, he would have been the greatest QB who ever lived.

Not at all!!!!
You know why, BCF? Big Play Shay had TWO SUPER BOWL RINGS when he left. HAHAHAHAHA
Good riddance…

well...
it’s assumed the Chefs will never win the big game! LOL! I guess I’m saying it’s a good opportunity for Gonzo to go to a team that actually has a shot to get to the big dance.

Going out on a limb
by willing to bet some money the Chiefs will be drafting some receivers this weekend. (Though I hope they don’t.) Call me kooky!

I'm still pretty pissed about Elam...
goes into the Champ category, you just DONT get rid of him…oh well. Good luck Gonzo. ATL is gonna have a good team this year.

And if you do
You know that and plan ahead so that you grab the next best kicker in the NFL for the next 15 years that plays just up the interstate!!

I'm still mad
That they didn’t take Mason Crosby. That’s what I mean, sorry, that was a little cryptic.

Can anyone say Michael Crabtree at 3
They really need another WR now

TG is automatically the best TE in his new division
He might have a feast going against defenses and SLBs that weren’t built to slow him down. Sounds like a real good fantasy pickup.
I agree, Larsen shouldn’t get any bigger. I am getting tired of his bone crushing hits knocking the pixels off my TV, once they fall to the floor they are very hard to find.

I may be in the minority here....
…but I think KC got the far better end of the deal. TG will be in the hof (no caps until they rectify “The Tragedy”), but for now he’s not worth a future 2nd rounder.
KC continues to patiently and slowly build up. I think ATL overpaid.

I hesitate to disagree, with you HT
out of respect for your superior football knowledge… so I assume I’m wrong :)
but next year’s 2nd for a future hof TE who still consistently produces and has no injury history seems like a pretty good deal.
Not sure what his contract is, though.

Good luck to him
Being a Broncos fan I am glad to see him go just so we don’t have to face him 2 times a year anymore. As someone who lives in the KC area though I hate to see him leave, he is a genuinely good guy. His work ethic etc… is amazing and he does a lot for the community here. Something that I will always remember was earlier this year Tony was at the Children’s hospital here in KC doing his thing visiting kids, signing autographs etc… and my 6 year old son just happened to be there for one of his weekly treatments that day. One of the volunteer ladies was going around the rooms on his floor rounding up kids to take down to see Tony, when they came and asked my son if he wanted to go meet him, and they mentioned that he was a player for the Chiefs, he said "I don’t want to go see him, my dad doesn’t even like the Chiefs, we like the Broncos". I have never been so proud in all my life……LOL

This should help his career longevity...
He’s not 88% (exaggerated) of his team’s total offense anymore LOL. I have always loved to watch TG play football. How many times I’ve wished he was a Bronco……I think he stands a good chance of at least a few playoff games with the Falcons, and he won’t get killed during the season.
I wish him luck, and the person I live with is very pissed that his beloved Chefs didn’t get any draft help this year for him……I think that’s right. TG might not have wanted to spend his last seasons with a non-contender, but KC still got shafted on this IMHO.
