Official Broncos Mock.
Hopefully it's not too late, but here goes: styg, this is my official entry into the Full Broncos Mock contest. You'll notice that it's a bit different than my full first round mock (by the way styg, you can take the top 12 from that entry for the third contest) but that's just me hedging my bets! Here goes nothing!
- #12 - Tyson Jackson, DE, LSU
- #18 - Knowshon Moreno, RB, Georgia
- #48 - Louis Delmas, S, Western Michigan
- #79 - Mike Mickens, CB, Cincinnati
- #84 - Antoine Caldwell, G/C, Alabama
- #114 - Zack Follett, OLB, California
- #149 - Chris Baker, DT, Hampton
- #185 - Hunter Caldwell, QB, Louisville
- #225 - Antonio Appleby, ILB, Virginia
- #235 - Deon Butler, WR, Penn State
This may well be too optimistic, but it hits the top positions of need/want with prospects that I like (for the most part) and would fit our team well. We'll see how this all works out soon enough! Thanks for checking in on this and I look forward tou your comments. Go Broncos!

I like it :)
it really addresses all the needs of the team. With Louis Delmas and Brain Dawkins mentoring him he will become a beast in the NFL.

Kid from Hampton
Kind of a sleeper, though he did start at Penn State, so he has some skill, questions regarding his judgements are what has him so low.

Nice...
I am almost certain Jackson is gone at 3. Pioli wants a Richard Seymore type and KC has a huge need at DE. I just don’t see Jackson being all that good. Is he a run stuffer, perhaps, he is big and agile. His 4.5 sacks lead me to believe he isn’t a pass rusher – not compared to the results of Dumervil at Louisville. I say, jump all over him KC…please then you can trade him and Hali at the same time in a few years.
On a side not EJ, there is a report that the Eagles are willing to whatever it takes to get Moreno, and the Cards too. He is becoming a wanted man instead of the slider that we all thought. It’s 12 or nothing for Knowshon I think.
Moreno in '09!
