Do you guys think that all the DB picks might be an indication that the Broncos are going to blitz constantly. If that’s the strategy then it makes since that you’d want to be stacked with ballhawks at DB. Also, they’re selection of guys that are said to be better in zone than man might suggest that as well. Furthermore, they got some guys that can come up and stuff the run when necessary.

If you’re planning on blitzing pretty much all of the time then you would want to be pretty dang sure that you’re set at DB.

I think so. I also think as was pointed out earlier they want to make sure they have depth given the ages of the starters now.

All I know is last year I cringed at the thought of our secondary, which was The Suck. This year it should be vastly better.
And they may indeed be blitzing a lot since we’re not sure how the DL is going to pan out.

According to Alex Marvez of FOXSports.com, the Broncos are shopping the 17th overall pick in the 2007 draft for a mere seventh-round draft pick.

Moss has only 3.5 sacks in two seasons.

If we give up Moss for a mere 7th rounder, can we say that he was Shanny's worst ever pick?

Now that was a player that we had no business trading up for. Maybe he can still do something and I would like to see what he can accomplish in the 3-4, but at the same time this might be the most we ever get for him.

Most of the draft experts (?) listed Moss exactly

where Shanny picked him. Drafting for potential when a player has an injury history is high risk.

I agree, Larsen shouldn’t get any bigger. I am getting tired of his bone crushing hits knocking the pixels off my TV, once they fall to the floor they are very hard to find.

I agree, Larsen shouldn’t get any bigger. I am getting tired of his bone crushing hits knocking the pixels off my TV, once they fall to the floor they are very hard to find.

Well, I for one am glad that this bizarre draft is over.

Here’s to hoping that it was a good one! I have no idea what to think of it, but these guys are now Broncos for better or worse and that means that I will be firmly behind them.

Here's to a completely defensive draft besides Knowshon Moreno!

We did get 4 starters on D through Free Agency... so it isn't all bad.

My image is the Circa 1960-’61 Broncos home uniform sock. Some what folk lore to me ... but referred to as the clown sock by my Dad.

Our offense wasn't perfect (the Oline was, but on the whole it wasn't),

and without Cutler the weaknesses will be more apparent. Although I should also say without Cutler we should have fewereinterceptions. Whatever, ignore these comments on Cutler, I know that’s going to start an argument, my point is that our O wasn’t perfect, and we did need to add some players there. And we have a lot of guys on defense. I think new schemes, new DC (a good one at that), better leadership, etc. will all help. So maybe not a lost cause
