Mock Draft Help
I'm picking for the Bronco's in the mock draft over at Pride of Detroit, and wanted to get a general idea of what other Bronco's fans wanted to do with the draft. I was leaning towards whoever the best available defensive player was at both picks, with the glaring need on defense, but what does that entail? If, somehow, Sanchez falls to 12, would he be the pick? Maybe a RB? What about the USC linebackers who allegedly tested positive for steroids, does that make them undraftable at those two picks?
Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you.

I think a lot of us...
advocate trading back. Aside from that you’ll find in no particular order the following views:
1) best defensive player available
2) best linebacker available
3) best player regardless of postion
4) Raji if he falls
there are tons of mock drafts and a lot of very well informed opinions in the comments sections

My Two Cents.
1) No first round QB. We got Orton in the package for Cutler even though we could have simply gotten another draft pick of some value, so we’ll give him a try. Simms was also hand-picked by McD, so I think he’ll put the new guys through the paces before commiting serious money and pressure on a big time QB prospect/.
2) Best PLAYER Avaliable. We could go for an RB (Moreno at #18) or even a WR if the value is overwhelming positive. Obviously we’d prefer defensive players, with NT being the top priority, but we won’t reach for on or go for a project just to “adress a need”.

Please whatever you do
do NOT draft Sanchez.
It is all about defense early in this (and probably next) draft.
I think we should (and will) let it ride with Orton and Simms this year at the very least until we see what (if anything) we have there.
Just please don’t draft the QB from USC — totally my biggest fear!

Don't worry..
even if he does draft him, we don’t have to.

I think the thought here are draft the best front seven guy on defense available
Who that is is up to debate, but I don’t think Sanchez would be a very good option.
