they managed to put him in a suit, that wasn’t 3 sizes to large. Thats some thing the Broncos never could do – so I guess they are off to a good start.

A reporter quoted McDanials’ saying something like “we contacted Jay the morning we fielded the offers for Cassel”. In the transcript of the interview it will appear Jay took the high road—“I’m not going to get into that stuff, blah, blah, blah”— however, as the question was asked he gave a very smug smirk and rolled his eyes.

When asked if his experience in Denver could prepare him for Chicago he said that it was a bigger market (obviously) and the fans were much more passionate.

Very awkward ending when the GM said something like “we may have picked up a franchise QB here, but we will not know until we see him on the field, but what we know we have picked up a winning QB”. Huh

That last quote is perfect. I wonder if that is the type of commitment Cutler wanted. Bears fans better be ready for another Cutlergate. Yeah, and the whole thing about a winning QB is hilarious. At what point in his life, past High School, has he been a winner?

I also loved when McD said that our expectations ARE NO DIFFERENT and that the NFL isn’t gonna put the season on PAUSE just because we have a stiuation that comes up in the middle of March.
