instead of getting hit by Boss
he can now jam with him on the sidelines after a touchdown!

You'll like KO!
Bears fan here!
I have to say he doesn’t have a super strong arm but he’s smart and doesn’t force a bad play.
You’ll love him as a person he’s well spoken and has become a great leader. most of the Bears players were sad to see him go because he just earns respect. He’s not flashy he just gets the job done. I think he’ll do well in Denver Im sure! Steady as a rock.
Overall he’s a great person who seems to becoming into his own now that he’s married and his college days are behind him.
Pool and a pond... Pond be good for you.
quick thoughts
he moved pretty good int eh pocket and made his decisions quickly. If you watch his head, he gets through his progressions fast, which is nice, and HE GOES THROGH THEM, which is even nicer. His footwork is pretty good, he threw off his back foot twice. No evidence in these highlights that he can evade the rush in the pocket, but shows a lof of ‘hang in there!’ and was accurate under pressure, especially throwing to an inside shoulder.
Receivers weren’t helping him out much it seemed (was this 2005? Rookie year for Orton?) there was some YAC to be had on some of the shorter throws.
I wonder about his confidence…the first play from scrimmage had a crossing route byt he TE, and he passed it up. The choice he did make was an excellent one, but it was also his last choice, an obvious checkdown. Chances are very high that the back isn’t properly covered on that play, but he pased up an open receiver (a big TE no less) right before the checkdown…
Can’t wait to break down some preseason games.
Is the draft here yet????
Amnesty, the idea that you can forgive transgressions against you, gives as much to one side, as it does the other. It has the noble quality of bestowing mercy to both parties.
There is no army so powerful as an idea whose time has come.

disagree
the ROLB got burned on the PA and backed off into coverage rather quickly. the WR streaks up the field, and the TE coming across the middle. it was probably a designed pass to Forte in the flat, considering he was one of their leading receivers LOL.
IMHO, i don’t think it has anything to do with him not being “confident” enough to make that pass, but rather actually going through his progression, which you mentioned. which will be nice to see, for once
