Failing to plan is planning to fail.

Thanks NYC

Why would Torain be a good fit in New Orleans? Because he is the tub all the time?

Loved that first article

And it’s even from ESPN, which I have no love for.

Re Knowshon's hurdle

I remember Peyton Hillis doing the same thing last year

Yep!

It was against the fish, too. I wonder if it was one of our new DB, Hill or Goodman… I’ll have to go back and check the highlights.

by BroncosBassist on Apr 30, 2009 8:31 AM MDT up reply actions

I liked Hillis anyway

but it was that hurdle that stole my heart forever. Flawless.

Oh, and thanks NYC! These are much appreciated.

Hillis is a jumper, not just at thumper

And you watch, Moreno isn’t just a jumper either!

I put up a set of Hog N’Dog pics in the fanposts.

Well Bradley...
I remember Peyton Hillis doing the same thing last year

I remember Peyton Hillis once killing a man, then bringing him back to life and killing him again. Just because he likes the feel. Special K and the Redneck are gonna murder some defenses this year!

Draft grades

It must be the sexy choice to refuse to understand BPA drafting and to pile on teams that do it. Everyone knows we got great players and great people in this draft, but they still seem to think we didn’t draft well. If the value and fit wasn’t there, who exactly should we have picked for the front-seven? We took Ayers in the first round fer cryin’ out loud! Plus, we got one of the best crops of UDFA this year, in my not-so-humble opinion. I admit it, I drank the kool-aid and am stoked about our new rookies! Come on, FO, get ’em all signed!

they panned NE when they were doing it too

but now get ahead of themselves calling everything NE does superb. Sucks to be proven wrong all the time I guess, and so the “graders” area little antsy…

one difference...

I agree with you re New England. One difference between us and them that lets the news writers sleep at night bashing us and not the Pats is that they have developed at most positions to the point that they don’t have any huge holes. So, they draft BPA and it’s a brilliant move. We do it and ignore a position that some windbag like John Clayton thinks was our biggest hole, and get lambasted. Eh, whattayagonnado? I like the position of underdog. :)

Funny

that Jim Saccomano left Rod Smith off his list of CFAs that became stars in the NFL.

But I guess that particular one is so obvious it just goes without saying! ; )

NOOO

I feel like such a bad fan because it didn’t even dawn on me that he forgot Rod. I feel like I owe Rod something for such a terrible lapse. :)

MSM's funny

So do you think Brett Farve is at home thinking to himself, “well the rumor started, so why don’t I give it one more try. It sure was hell of a run last year for 7 weeks.” At least its another player now. Glad to finally have the Cutler fiasco done with and out of the media.

by diviesti on Apr 30, 2009 8:52 AM MDT reply actions

He totally left it on the table

I’m telling you guys, Bus Cook is the master of Double Speak, and his clients pick it up by osmosis. He coaches them on how to field and answer questions.

Favre could contribute nothing to the NFL at this point, so this is , again, all about a few more deneros. My money is that this all heats up quite well over the offseason, and I would say it is 50/50 whether he is done or not. I hope he gets tired of the games in the media, but I doubt it. I think he loves media whoring.

If you like a good conspiracy theory, you will probably note that if a Favre saga heats up, thena Cutler might be able to come into camp overweight and out of shape without too much fanfare….

by Jeremy Bolander on Apr 30, 2009 11:01 AM MDT up reply actions

True

but don’t you think Bus Cook is salivating over the notion of getting Favre signed by the Redskins or somebody? ; )

Bus Cook salivates anytime he drives by a bank.

It’s not about the players for him, it’s all about money!
