Quinn Could Still be Traded to the Broncos

It sounds like mostly speculation to me, but NFL.com is citing a Cleavland newpaper saying that Denver could trade the #18 pick to the Browns for Quinn.

Too good to be true, Me thinks

I would still advocate using both picks for defensive help (especially in a deep defensive draft), but if the Broncos still think they need a young QB in the first round, I would prefer Quinn to Sanchez or Freeman.

I had to pause when I read that...

I can’t see that happening….I’m all for Orton, Simms and some late round draft pick competing in camp. Quinn makes things too crowded for my liking.. I want us to use our draft picks.

I also think that we’ll not trade for Quinn. For me the question is are we gonna trade Sheffler and what we can get for him!

I think if there’s a player we want on draft day (let’s say somewhere in Rd 2/Rd 3) and we need to move up, I foresee Scheff being dealt.

the guy writing it just came up with it and thinks it is a super-duper idea….for Cleveland. then he goes on to talk about what CLE could do with those draft picks, and how Mangini isn’t settled on who will be QB….

Move along. Nothing to see here.

Problem

Quinn doesn’t have a Neckbeard, though he would likely be an upgrade over what we have, and he would likely be a more immediate solution that Sanchez. See the list in my signature to understand why he needs Neckbeard.

List of Prerequisites to be Denver Broncos QB:

McD didnt have him high on his board while in NE. that probably why that trade fell through in the first place

Quinn would be the perfect fit for McD. I truly hope this happens.Nothing against Orton but Quinn will be one of the best QB’s in the league. Trade Orton and #18 and we will make the playoffs.
