"I haven't talked to Brandon. I would have to talk to Brandon to give him advice. I won't tell you what I would tell him. You know what? Honestly, I don't a whole lot of what's going on. I just know he's not here and that's not good for him or the club, period. I don't know a whole lot about it, I don't know the situation, but hopefully whatever decision he makes, it works out.

[When asked if he was going to try to talk to BM]

I think he should try to talk to me, honestly. I think there's some information he needs that I have. That's just my thoughts. He might see it different. It's just never any good when people are not here. When you're trying to build a team and there's a whole lot of new stuff going on, there's always stuff you're going to miss. And it's never the big stuff. What people don't realize is it's not the big things, it's the little things. The discipline, the details, the lining up, protecting this guy -- those types of things are very important, and when you're not here, you can't get it.

I haven't talked to Brandon, and I don't know what his situation is. I don't know what he's thinking. All I know is, as far as I know is, he has a contract with the Denver Broncos. Therefore, if he's on contract, he should be here. That's just my take. I don't know what's right and what's wrong. I've just never been a guy who bought into holding out or not being on the property. Once you come across those gates or once you sign that contract, you know, they have your rights for a reason. Because they want you to be a part of this organization. And it's best for the organization if all the players are here, so when somebody's not here, it doesn't help."
