DB - Broncos Sign Lloyd
Perhaps in preparation for an extended holdout by Brandon Marshall, Denver signed WR Brandon Lloyd (not enough Brandon's in camp). While Lloyd has never been a prolific receiver, he does have a knack for acrobatic catches and had zero drops last year (although that's with only 26 receptions in 50 targets).

NYC.....I was thinnking that Marshall was a great receiver until
I saw he read on MHR that he caught a 100 balls but was thrown to over 170 times. Add his fumbles into that and remember all of those that were dropped and my goodness that isn’t that productive. The trouble is evaluating Brandon is Eddie Royal is the bigger deep threat because of his speed. Honestly I think Scheffler gets behind the defense more, maybe due to the attention Marshall gets. What i need to know is how fast is McKinley?
Brandon lacks Randy Moss’ speed in order to play that role and Eddie Royal lacks his physique but McDaniels I am sure has a plan B for Marshall who really does not work hard off the line if a DB jams him. I think if Brandon pushed this too far or even much more we sit him, find out what can be done as far as suspensions and clearing the roster spot but he do not let him go with out good compensation.

Wow, Woodrow's mad O.o
I’m not ready to throw 15 on (or under) a bus just yet. For all of his trouble, I do believe in him as a player and as a man trying to work things out. In my mind, he’s either genuinely upset about the issues with his hip being misdiagnosed, or he’s trying to use it as leverage to justify a contract with fewer security clauses for the Broncos. The issue does have its bizarrities, but I still hope we can work things out and have him back in our huddle. I don’t know if that’s realistic — my hopes are fading — but if its really money he wants, I still think we have all the leverage we need to strike a deal that benefits the Broncos. X needs to prove his mettle, right now.

Agents? We don't need no stinkin' Agents!
From the “Rookie Contract Negotiations” story:
There was a time when a head coach could sit down with a few reporters and make some glowing remarks about players who had tremendous offseasons. These days, any positive comments from a coach will drive that player’s agent right back to the club looking for a new contract…
I had one general manager tell me, “we are excited about five or six players this spring but I instructed my coaches to keep the public praise to a minimum so I don’t have to deal with the agents looking for a new deal.”
You figured this was true already, but it’s a bummer to see it in print. As a result, you can’t get a straight answer from a coach in an interview about a player.
I hate agents… (except for Agent Jerry!)
Take my advice... I'm not using it!

Amazing what a difference there is
in persona between Eddie Royal and Brandon Marshall. I know that goes without saying but you can just see it in the links above — Royal out there doing things with the community and reaching out to his fans (and on Facebook). BMarsh pouting, holding out and demanding a trade. Honestly, I want them both back, but it’s clear which one I can have an easier time rooting for as a person on my team. And his initials aren’t BM.
