YES!
Woohoo thats great news!
I really hope this was the time for Brandon….I am worried…but maybe he’s finally learned something. ALthough thats what I thought last time.
Just hope he betters his life and signs a long term deal. Sure as hell wouldnt want to have to to play against him on anaother team.

finally
I don’t know if the Commish was playing games or not, but the Constitutional guarantee of swift justice got lost in this one. Now … if Brandon can keep his nose clean and get some feeling back in his hand, maybe the Broncos will be willing to talk about a long-term deal with him. Seems to me that he ought to get his butt into OTA’s and start learning an offense that is far removed from anything he’s ever seen before. Marshall can shine in McD’s system — but he has to learn it first!! Seems to me he owes the Broncos one for all their patience. Maybe there will be talk of an extgension next year.

Can't say for sure
But everything I’ve read thus far implies that Brandon HAS been around the team while in rehab, and just recently left to Orlando (no evidence to back me up, but It feels like he was going for a specialist’s opinion and analysis, not to leave the team).
I do hope, however, that Denver starts looking to lock him up; maybe a “let’s wait until your hip is healed, then we’ll get VERY serious” situation.

I got a Feeling
There isn’t going to be much drama with the Broncos for awhile.
Tis better not to throw it to the deep receiver but the open receiver.

Sounds injury related
According to Marshal’s agent he is not in Denver because he does not trust Denver’s medical staff (in so many words).
Meanwhile, the Denver Post reports that Marshall continues to rehab after hip surgery in Orlando while the team restarts passing camp in Colorado. Marshall’s agent Kennard McGuire told the Post that this decision was not about sending a message to the Broncos about Marshall’s unresolved contract extension situation, but rather that it was decided he could get better medical attention in Florida.
“This young man has been continually looking to establish and build a relationship of trust and confidence with the organization,” McGuire told the Post. “There has been ongoing dialogue between myself, Brandon and the (Broncos) staff. It’s unfortunate that so much has been made of one conversation. My disappointment is that last year Brandon fought through and played through a tough injury that went undiagnosed after several MRIs. So it’s within our right to continue to get professional help in the rehab process. We feel this is the best course of action to make sure he is healthy and ready.”
Hopefully McD cleaned out some of the old docs that missed his injury more than once.

Question
From the PFT story and Klis mail bag, I get the impression that Marshall can still be suspended over the pending Watley matter. I thought the incident was part of the first suspension. Can anybody clarify?

Double Jeopardy
His suspension last year was over the Watley mess, so depending on what version of the law Roger decides to use he should be clear of additional punishment even if Watley’s civil trial succeeds, but that’s strictly my interpretation. This announcement just addressed the screwup in Atlanta. Here’s a quote from BM on the #### network.
Getting straight to the point, I understand that there can’t be anymore hiccups from me. With that said, I guarantee, repeat I guarantee there won’t be any more from this day forward. I am excited for the path that I’m on. For the most part, this past year has been a blast for me. I have had the opportunity to work with Reverend Kelly and the kids at the Open Door program, to getting engaged and the planning of our wedding, and even making it to the Pro Bowl while playing last season at 80 percent."

Unfortunately, Klis and Florio are correct...
“The pending case will be subject to review when appropriate,” (NFL Spokesman Greg) Aiello told ESPN on Tuesday. “The notification [Marshall] received from our office applied only to the March 1st incident.”

...It was a dark and stupid night.....
OK, nights. They were dark nights, and BMarsh was stupid. Temporarily. Several times. Aw… hell. I hope he doesn’t. I hope he’s serious. Let’s get the guy a stress ball or a koosh or teach him to play drums or something to exorcise that pent-up off-season aggression. If I were his teammates, I’d keep him working out ALL the time to release some of that tempermental energy of his.

Now if he decides to play for the Broncos this year...
all should be well. He should shine in the system everyone tells me the Broncos are implementing. That would be good.

I'm not a big fan of his
Aside from the off the field antics – and setting aside his great rookie year, wasn’t his favorite play last year some kind of retreating spin move that guaranteed he was going to get tackled five yards behind where he caught the ball every time ? He is not a grind it out get every yard you can player. He looks for the big glory breakaway run every time he touches the ball – that gets old if it costs you five yards every time he handles the ball. Not a team player – he is just another TO.
