Anybody...
…stumble across a theory on the motive of the Thomas killing? My gut guesses the guy was on a meth run and out of his head. I don’t know. That’s just one of those crazy ones that’s hard to wrap your head around.

Interesting
Scein thinks cutler can lead the Bears to the SB while Prisco thinks cutler is not even in the top 50 players.

Were I a betting man . . .
I would look at what Prisco says and bet the opposite . . .

You gotta factor in the 'storied franchise' factor.
The MSM overrates a handful of franchises every single year. The Bears have been a player or two away since 1985. The Dallas Cowboys WERE the new NFL Dynasty this time last year. The New York Jets have been chronically mediocre my entire NFL conscious life, yet it took a pounding at the hands of the Denver Broncos to knock them off the undisputed top of the AFC heap last year. They have apparently solved this by drafting a rookie QB who was just short of mocked when he declared for the draft (For the record, I like Sanchez…but the same guys who orgied in Pete Carroll’s reserverations about Sanchez have already annointed him the undisputed savior of the Jets). I mean, how in the world has Rex Ryan gone this long without a DC job if he is already as great as apparently he already is. (Might we say that to the MSM Ryan is the anti-MacDaniels?).
Anyway, maybe Cutler is the difference. I have my doubts, as should anybody else who takes the time to look at reality. This is more a lateral move for Cutler— at least in terms of overall strenght of the respective franchises in question— than most are willing to admit.
Anyway, Chicago could have trade for Joey Harrington and 3/4 of those guys would have them in contention for glory.

Sorry for all the typos lately....
I meant, how could Ryan go this long without a head coaching job as amazing as he apparently is?
Sorry about the slopiness of my comments lately. My youngest has emerged into full blown tottlerhood, which gives me two toddlers working in my life at the moment. It can be a little distracting….

Orton
I don’t know whether or not he belongs on the “Gutsiest” list, but Orton played the second half of last year on a high ankle sprain, which usually keeps a player off the field. If nothing else, we seem to be getting a tough QB in Orton . . .

And by the way . . .
In the 2003 Capital One Bowl Orton played with a dislocated thumb, cracked ribs, and a sprained toe. He is one tough SOB.
