Broncos' VIRTUAL Rating? One word. Ouch.

So, any fans of gaming out there will know that Madden 10 is coming out in August and this past week held the E3 Gaming Convention (during which M10 was showcased). Here are the bottom ten teams in the game at this point as far as overall ratings are concerned:

23. Tampa Bay Buccaneers 74
24. San Francisco 49ers 73
25. Jacksonville Jaguars 71
26. Oakland Raiders 71
27. Denver Broncos 70
28. Kansas City Chiefs 69
29. Cleveland Browns 68
30. Cincinnati Bengals 67
31. St. Louis Rams 66
32. Detroit Lions 65

Remember, the ratings are of course subject to change based on how the season progresses. I know Madden and virtual ratings mean nothing, so I want to say that I am in no way using this as a realistic barometer of the Broncos. I just wanted to throw it out there and see what everyone thinks. (Extra Info: Denver was rated 84 at the release of Madden 09 - 17th in the league then. Of course a whole season and an off-season has happened since then and ratings may be factored differently.)

Well, the FAN in me

says “wtf mate” but the logical human being says “yeah, that’s about fair”

I mean, in the eyes of the MSM, we’ve dismantled our team, for better or worse. That’s ok though, next years ratings will be quite different I believe.

It’s sad to see where the AFC West is right now…at least “Madden-wise”. Three of the four teams in the bottom seven :(

Actually...I am broke and hoping I have an income and a job by November....

My only desire is to own Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

I won’t play any other game…COD 4 and 5, mostly just 4. :)

It’s an obsession…one that is taking a back seat while I find a new job. You have playstation3?

I recorded a game yesterday afternoon and put it on youtube. Bad sound quality, but I am a total novice. I had an okay game, even after a horrible start.

just do what I do

go to “manage roster” then edit the players and make them all 99’s.

It’s fun that way. Then Kyle Orton can NEVER throw a bad pass, Marshall will NEVER drop it, and Dawkins will record 11 sacks in a game. ;)

So …. how often do you do that? Haha. I could totally see guys like Nate Webster or something picking up enough slack to make the HOF with that strategy. And speaking of that, I’m sure the Hall of Fame is LOADED with Broncos if you do that during a franchise. But hey…nothing wrong with that :-D

That’s pretty funny though…making Kyle Orton ‘godlike’ (oh boy, the video game terms) and all. Doesn’t that make it depressing to watch games though when the real life counterparts don’t perform so well after you’ve made them almost perfect in-game? :-P

Of course. Dawkins screwed me up since I was the star safety on my newly minted franchise. lol That was Madden 09 though…I won’t be buying Madden 10….can’t afford as I’ve already said. All gaming monies is to go towards COD 6…if there is any monies. eep.

If I don’t have to sell my PS3 by November. :/

It’s MODERN WARFARE 2! Not COD 6! Come on now! It’s a DIRECT SEQUEL TO MODERN WARFARE! That’s why some of the videos didn’t even have “Call of Duty” in front of Modern Warfare 2! AHHHH!!!!!!

(Only joking of course. Pretending to be one of those “insanely wrapped up in games” fanboys who argues on forums all day is quite fun. Too bad I don’t have the time….or willingness for that matter.)

No seriously though, My attention span in Madden doesn’t go far, I’ll get through maybe 2 seasons in franchise then I’ll dump it off and play exhibition games and a wee bit online too.

Mostly though, even without adjusting my rosters, I love scoring 70 on the Raiders every time I play the game. I never run out of ways to beat them…It’s wierd. lol

Madden on Wii is a joke.

I’m sure if you spent a long time learning the controls and such, it’d be more fun. I spent about 3 hours playing with my nephew and I hated it. It’s a kids version of the 360/PS3 versions.

MODERN WARFARE 2 FTW!

I’m on that like a 12 year old at a Hannah Montana concert. I got the latest issue of Game Informer just to see the screen shots and read what they are doing as far as extending the storyline. The absolute highlight (all my gamer friends know this) is the MULTIPLAYER! I can’t wait for snow maps and fun new guns! I hope for all that is holy that they drop the P90. That gun is reserved for SWAT teams and SpecOps forces now. Another thing that potentially makes me soil my girlie shorts is the fact that they may be including suppressors for sniper rifles!

Warcraft 3!!!!

After being the only online game I started playing years after my formidable years (college), I find myself still playing it to this day! My friends make fun of me relentlessly … I guess I just can’t get enough of them hawt Night Elves. ;)
