MHR's Broncos Training Camp Tour 2009 with 'The Guru'

The offseason is way too long and now that camp is right around the corner my excitement will just grow. I am interested to see how Josh and the players do and how they work together.

Have a blast Guru, I am sure you will along with whoever else is there.

Our baby is due arrive any day now, though, so who knows…?

I’ve been reading your site for awhile but never posted anything. Not much of a message board poster.
BUT the fact that your knowledge of the Broncos and seeing them first hand at camp really interests me. I hooked up to your site so I could ask about specific questions (questions I’m sure you will already have answered).
Anyway, keep up the great work. This is THE BEST Broncos site on the net.

I’m 90% sure that I’ll be there from Thursday night to either Monday or Tuesday, and hopefully I’ll be able to get to at least one practice a day. Transportation will be a bit tricky, though. I’m staying with my grandma who doesn’t drive, and I’ll need a ride. I could get one from my aunt, but she lives about 30 minutes away and I think it’d be easier on everyone if one of you guys could pick me up. Anyone else staying in western Jefferson/ eastern Arapahoe County? Around Littleton?

I’ll be passing through Colorado on my way home Aug 15 and 16. But, won’t have anytime to stop and take in the Broncos. Have a great time and looking forward to your reports from camp Guru.

A few years ago the NFL Network had a commercial with quotes from head coaches about the joys of training camp. My family’s favorite quip was from Jon Gruden, that training camp is “like a spa… without all that spa stuff.”

Have a great time and give us less fortunate souls the inside story.

Man, I’m thinking of jumping a bus or plane or train or whatever and meeting you guys there. Maybe I’ll go the hobo route. If only I had the time! But I fear not, because I’m secure in the knowledge that you stalwart, intreped souls will be there to bring us the news in true, unbiased, unapologetic, glorious MHR fashion! BRING IT ON! And HAVE FUN!

Illegal Petes!

I will have the dates im going to go posted next week. I like the idea of meeting up on Saturday night John. We should really get something set for sure. I don’t really know the area very well. I pretty much stick to the west, and northwest area’s of Denver. But i’ve heard Illegal Pete’s mentioned a LOT.

Does anyone want to meet there Sat night? If there are a couple people going, then i’m down for sure.
