Thanks for all the hard work, NYC.

Ugh, sometimes I wonder why I even click the links. Just more regurgitation of the same old tired talking points. Tanaka seems to think that our offensive line is something of a question mark. He also thinks that we’re moving to a totally new blocking scheme, contrary to all observable evidence. Why do these guys get paid to do this? I can understand a guy like Clayton being ignorant of what’s going on in Dove Valley, but these guys actually report primary on the Broncos. Yikes.

And why does everyone think that Ayers and Moreno are a unity problem? Don’t get me started… :)

All that said, he does make a valid point about the center of the 3-4. Here’s hoping we find at least a solid rotation at NT to pull the front seven together!

Thanks NYC....Awesome.

Is it even possible to feel anymore optimistic??? I am REALLY stoked with what is happening with our team…and it seems at least the local MSM are starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

All I want is 53 Rod Smiths. Is that asking too much????

The 2008 1st round picks provide a contract template.

I hear you on Crabtree. The 49ers would be crazy to and hated around the league if they caved to this dolt.

And even if they did, the rest of the NFL would be even crazier to reward their 1st round picks based on one outlier contract.

Who does this guy think he is – a 26 year old Jerry Rice? I hope Patrick Willis destroys this kid on a crossing route in his 1st practice.

+100

That kid has some gumption. I can’t wait until they put a friggin rookie cap in place and end this silly and complete BS part of football.

I don’t want breakaway speed. I want break-some-poor-fool-as-I-bowl-you-over power getting 6 yards off a play that should have been stopped for 2 at most.

Yeah, a cap is needed badly.

I mean Crabtree has no right to demand top 3 money. He didn’t even participate this offseason due to his foot injury. 49ers better not cave…..stand tall.

The Anticipation is killing me

This is my first post on this site and I am excited on many different levels for all of us, including our team.

First, this is the best Broncos site available. The information that is shared here is priceless and keeps us all well informed as to what is going on in Dove Valley, and the organization as a whole. I love all of the exchanges here and what initially appeared to be a disasterous offseason, has now manifested itself into a very exciting time.

Second, the anticipation of the first snap will finally give us the long-awaited glimpse into this new 2009 team. I want to see the combination of the “Ameoba” spread offense with the home-made zone-blocking scheme. I want to see our special teams playing to the beat of Spencer Larsen and Darrell Reid. And last, but not least, I cannot wait to finally see what a Denver 3-4 will look like with nearly 1000 lbs up front, backed up by solid veterans in DJ Williams, Andra Davis, and one of the best if not THE best secondaries in the league!

Here’s to a very exciting and successful new season!

Welcome

I share your excitement. I’ve been a Broncos fan for over 40 years and I cannot remember another time when I’ve been this thrilled at the offseason moves.

I was deeply frustrated this year at the incredibly poor main stream media reporting. It was a godsend to find MHR.
