So let me get this straight...

The Broncos would have been better with Cutler, but the key to the offense is Moreno, who probably wouldn’t have been there without the trade.

I'm in Nashville this weekend and...

Steve McNair is shot dead. Last time I was in Vegas, OJ was arrested for armed robbery. Something about my travel schedule and NFL players and guns… Since I’m traveling to 40 cities this summer, do I need to warn the NFL and send them my itinerary? ;-)

Steve’s death is a shame, and obviously McNair’s death dominates the TV news here.

Thanks NYC for your hard work!

Wait a minute what the hell?

Did Pork Chop actually make a good analysis of our offense there? I agreed with everything he said.

Although he did have this Pork Chop gem:
You can’t lose all that production and maintain the same productivity.

That’s almost Yogi-like. So PC remains an idiot, and the world is at peace again.

Nice Note on Castille

Thanks to MHR for the reports on Bly and Castille.

I stand firm in my opinion that we should enjoy all of the athletes who have played for the Broncos. Being able to read about them and what they have done later in life is fun.

When you contrast what Castille has done with himself and what has happened to other athletes in later life, you give some perspective to kids growing up now. There is a life after sports.

Offense

will be just fine with all the weapons still on the team. The majority of the year Orton played above average, and seemed to progress from his rookie compaign. It’s the defense that will make or break this team. How did Ayers and Smith look during OTAs?
