Disgusting
Just a quick post. I've never done this before but couldn't stand how ridiculous this is.
Nfl.com segment on the top 5 O-lineman in the league....not only is Ryan Clady not on the list....They don't mention his name in the entire segment. They do, however pick Donald Penn who allowed EIGHT AND A HALF sacks last year. Ridiculous
http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-network-total-access/09000d5d811390f3/comments/Top-5-Offensive-lineman
Anyways, I just wanted to vent. I think Clady is not only the best Tackle in the League but also one of the best players....But then again I may be slightly biased haha.

Not alone
I’m sure you are aware you are certainly not alone in your disgust.
After this season, there will no longer be such neglect for either of our Ryans, especially if they perform as well as they did last season (though I’m not counting it out, it is still the MSM).
First team to three consecutive SB wins!!!! and then some, right? I think four and we oughtta let someone else have a fair shot : )

The NFL Network
has become more about the personalities of the talking heads than about football. I’m quite disappointed in their programming. The radio is just as bad – I’m so tired of Adam Schein telling me how great that last spot was. The other day they actually had a discussion about the announcers on another program. I watch/listen because I like football, not because I like them. And as long as it is all about them, I’m not watching. (That’s one reason I’m here!)
Sapp’s list seemed to have been done on the back of a napkin and he quickly admitted that several top players were left out – that he had forgotten about them while making his list. So, I think Sapp’s list was more about him coming up with 5 names than it was about a scientific, systematic analysis of the 5 best OL in the game today.

Totally agree Sam
I have become so fed up with the NFL Network and NFL Radio. It really seems Busch league. I’m not even talking about the obvious disrespect towards the Broncos either. These two programs are just bad entertainment. The exception is Pat Kirwan and Tim Ryan. I like their show.
All you get from drafting the "best player available" is a team full of good football players.

The afternoon show on the radio?
That is the best of the bunch, I agree. I did enjoy the idea of Playbook, but it was too poorly done to really teach the game to the average viewer. And, it was too simplistic to provide any real in depth insight for the average MHR viewer.

yup
That afternoon show on the radio is really good. I haven’t seen Playbook. It seems everytime I turn on NFLNetwork, it bores me to no end.

Not alone
I remember seeing Clady in training camp last year and being absolutely blown away. He was absolutely amazing in the regular season. And, as you say, he is a stand-up character kind of guy. MSM won’t give him his deserved props, but we will!

Ben Hamilton
Just had to give props to Clady’s sidekick on the offensive line!

Everyone..
In the media world for one reason or another hates us. I am fine with that. I would much rather be feared than loved (in context and in certain situations), but I don’t want to get into that here and now, so just let the haters hate. Like Katt Williams said, if you ain’t got any haters you ain’t sh*t. Very well said, if I do say so myself.
Take my advice, I'm not using it !!!

Im pissed
it seems that the MSM ALWAYS has a problem with us. Even if our Ryan’s put up the same #’s as last year, the media will somehow overlook that and tell us what is wrong with our QB, WR, and Defensive situations. Give me a break.

Not being from an SEC school may be one reason.
Clady coming out of Boise St …small school, why look at him? No prestige in that…We the fans have to step up and vote for these players this season or we really don’t have much to say about it. And I’m not talking about flooding the ballots like the Redskins fans did, but if we have a play (such as Clady) that deserves to be in the Pro Bowl then we should as a collective group vote for that player.

Agreed.
Consider it a done deal, sir.

I'm proud to say that
MHR led the charge last year with our “7 Days of Clady” during the week leading up to the final probowl voting.
Memory Lane. (with some awesome clady stats from 2008)
Day #1
Day #2
Day #3
Day #4
Day #5(my fave)
Day #6
Day #7

I thought I'd toss a little more in ;-)
Iron Clady – Take that, Bucky Brooks (He stole my nickname)
Clady Earns Recognition
1st and 10 for Clady
And, at the beginning, Joe Thomas and Ryan Clady. I didn’t know that Clady would outdo him so quickly.

Friends
I must reiterate that the Media is self centered and totally into reporting on a “sensationalist” bias. They achieve they’re goals and responses from Negative reporting and ridiculous speculation. Sure, it drives us to find and analyze the truth, but it truly is nothing to concern ourselves over too greatly. Look at it this way:
a) Does it Matter?
b) Do you really value their opinion?
c) How much of what they say is driven by ratings or Attention.
and
d) Consider the Source.

Glad to hear it!!!
I absolutely LOVE that the MSM is completely disregarding the Broncos. In fact, the longer as they stay with the “they lost Cutler so now they have no one” line, the better! This plays right into any of the Parcells/Belichik type coaches hands…. no respect. It just gives McD another arrow in his quiver. I’d much rather see the Broncos sneak up on people and steal a few wins next season, a la the Phish last year.
KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK, MSM!!!!!
This is what we wanted...
Hey, look what we got!

This just echos the anti-Bronco bias in the hall of fame.
Tom Jackson is the only MSM guy that gives the Broncos any credit during the season, besides the occasional props from Shannon Sharpe. I guess the team is ignored by all but those with a link to the roster or region.
