Around SBN: Randy Moss A Raven?

Easy there Jay....

.....back-peddle any harder and you're liable to run into the goal post behind you.

My level of disrespect for the guy continues to spiral downward after reading this.  I really want to continue to wish him well in his new dwellings but he makes it almost impossible everytime he opens his mouth.  He continues to demonstrate his inability to stand by his words.  He either goes completely dark without letting anyone know his stance....including his owner, or he's playing damage control over words he said on the radio.  Not like he can say he was misquoted in an article.  I wish Jay would just shut his mouth and focus on playing for his new city.  Enough already!

They're not broncobears...

We’re talkin’ about rogue bears here, and the MUST be dealt with appropriately!

Seems rather ironic

Considering what happened in Ouray

Lady, you want me to answer you if this old airplane is safe to fly? Just how in the world do you think it got to be this old?

Both optimists and pessimists contribute to the society. The optimist invents the aeroplane, the pessimist the parachute.

So, Denvers training facility is a six?

But the fans are awesome. I think it’s likely that someone mentioned to him that he’ll be coming to town in three weeks and that he should lay off the fans. At least until after the game.

I for one...

…am not going to stand around while someone bashes our training facility!

Where does it end?

Before you know it, opponents will be dissing the bathroom sinks, the acrylic paint, and shudder the choice of indoor plants by the office staff. This cannot be allowed to continue!!!

What color paint?

You remember that one of the things McD said early on was that being a Head Coach you have to do things like chose the color of paint on the walls. Betcha didn’t think it was that important when you first read it, did you?

I don't get it...

Jay Cutler?

Who is this guy and why do we care what a bodybuilder says about the Broncos?

When exactly did he start caring about football and why did he pick the Broncos to bag on? It makes no sense to me.

This is what we wanted...
Hey, look what we got!

chill

Oh i’m sorry. When I heard him say it i thought he was talking about training camp as well.

we arn’t all deluded into thinking he hates us.
besides, chicago DOES have a bigger training camp, and they are probly a heck of a lot more excited than we are about this season.

seeing as we’re booing our players….

why does truth frustrate you?

by DORRITO on Aug 10, 2009 2:06 PM MDT reply actions

Well, we have a reason to boo.

I’m not going to boo, but other fans who might not be members on MHR boo because they don’t see the positives from the trade. And just because Chicago has a bigger training camp doesn’t mean their fans are better. I think that we, as Broncos fans, are one of the most passionate fans in the game. Are Yankees fans bad fans because they boo their team when they make mistakes…NO WAY!! The reason some of the fans are booing is either because they don’t like what the team is doing to become better or they are very VERY serious about football.

"When you put on that jersey, the name on the front is more important than the name on the back." - "Miracle".

"Winning means you're willing to go longer, work harder, and give more than anyone else." - Vince Lombardi.

A consistent trend...

Cutler: “Bus…I want a trade. Shanny’s gone. Bates is gone and they won’t let me pick the new coach. I don’t want to be a Bronco anymore. They hurt my feelings. Plus, I throw farther than Elway. And yes…I know he’s my boss – but I’m not taking his calls.”

Fast forward 45 days immediately following the trade:

Media: Jay, how do you feel about the situation?

Jay: It’s tough. I always wanted to be a Bronco but this is the way things work. I tried to keep the lines of communication open, but it was clear that I wasn’t what they wanted.

The moral of the story? Some people call it a backpeddle. I call it a lie. And it’s been a consistent trend with him. Some fans refuse to see that.

But at least he’s a liar with potential.

"Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful people with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan "press on" has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race" Calvin Coolidge

I’d be more pissed off as a bears fan. It’s one thing fir Denver fans to still be complaining about there ex quarterback, but why is the ex quarterback even still MENTIONING his former team. The radio interviewer mentioned NOTHING about Denver, yet jay felt it necessary to make a comparison then subsequently backpeddle. Bears fans must feel like there is a lingering affair going on. Concentrate on your own damn team.

Not everyone is buying it here in Illinois

Our local paper in an opinion piece had a quote from the sports desk saying Cutler was “completely unfair because Bronco fans are some of the most passionate fans in all of sports.”

From the Rockford Register Star, Rockford, IL pop. 145,000

The lovefest is starting to level off a bit, other than the national MSM and the Trib

The QB position is set.
