Tailgating tomorrow?
So when the preseason schedule came out, I was saddened to see that the Broncos were coming to my town for tomorrow's game, while I was scheduled to be on the beach in Cape Cod on vacation. For reasons I won't go into, vacation was canceled and through the magic of Craigslist, I am now the proud owner of a ticket to tomorrow's game (and one for my buddy, too). 50 yard line, 23 rows back from the Broncos bench. Man am I excited.
So is anyone else tailgating tomorrow such that I can show up straight from work, big bottle of hoppy west coast ale in hand, and talk Broncs before heading into the stadium? I swill be leaving from work in downtown SF on the first bus out, and should be there before the gates open. I will be wearing the MHR shirt I won for my draft predictions. If the stars align I will even get Hillis to sign it!
During the game I will be watching the line play, especially the D-line/NT's. I am excited to see the rookies in the secondary as well. Of course Moreno will be paid attention to, but I imagine he will be hard to miss. Anyone else people want me to pay attention to? I will write up my thoughts Saturday after the game and post them here so tell me if there is someplace I should train my binocs.
Go Broncos!

I certainly wish I could go...
My girlfriends out there right now visiting her family and her dad’s going to the game with friends of his. Sucks because he doesn’t even like football, he just does that stuff for the social aspect. She would rock that game like no one’s business.
Peyton Hillis is also referred to in early Greek mythology by his other names such as Zeus or Poseidon.

If you can
can you pay a little extra attention to the young DBs? It’s kind of hard to follow them on TV.

OLBs
I feel we’re relying a lot on some unproven OLBs. Please let me know how they look in real life, on a real NFL field.

Definitely the secondary
Particularly Alphonso….
As far as the front 7, that’s the position I will be dissecting the most…. So any details you pick up on there will be helpful as well.
Wish I could oblige and be there, but then I think that about every game ; )
First team to three consecutive SB wins!!!! and then some, right? I think four and we oughtta let someone else have a fair shot : )

I'll be there
on the 25 yard line 15 rows up from the Broncos bench, but I won’t get there until right about kickoff. I’m driving in from the central valley. I’ll keep an eye out for that MHR shirt! I’ll be watching the OLB play for rush/drop/contain. I think the OLBs are the key to our season. I also want to see how well the NTs handle double teams.
And per a private request, I will be dissecting the cheerleader play. More later.
Wherever you go, there you are.

Just realized
Through the magic of the Internet, I will be able to live comment and tweet about the game. I am jonahsilas on twitter too, and will post comments here or on the game thread if one happens…. If I seem tipsy by the last quarter – it’s because I am!!
